okay so like Imma talk about my thoughts for what halo infinite should look like, so the elite designs are really gross, it reminds me of this fleshy hairless cat, I would rather own the cat then a Sangheili, the older design looked more like leather, more smoother and softer, not only that they looked dangerous and something I wanna hug! But now? Just…ew no…I really want to see the old design, and please…for the love of the elites don’t bring battle royal mode…please don’t…I want to see classic Sangheili looks, thels armor is sick but needs to be more classic and iconic if you fail at halo infinite I am sad to Believe that halo is doomed, I would probably even stop playing if it’s not epic, again probably thels armour being cool is unpopular and gonna get hate for my opinion…
Theres already several threads discussing this topic. However, I think 343 will be sticking to the older art style from Halo 2 and 3. If you just take the time to view the trailer for Halo Infinite you’ll be able to see that the old art style is coming back.

I do see it, but I do fear that the current Sangheili looks we return, however, I can accept the gross looks as long as the story is actually enjoyable like a probably unpopular opinion after realising halo 4 was not the wrong game due to not playing it since halo 3 came out, and just better graphics it was a very nice game I actually like the ending sadly halo 5 is so bad I can’t play the campaign without thinking, what went wrong…sooo I can stand the crappy sangheilis as long as the story is good lol
I don’t overly mind the new design of the Elites on its own, but I do have a serious problem with what inconsistency it has with the prior design. 343 did that with a lot of in-universe things when they took over, and it’s always been a primary gripe of mine with the way they’ve run the show.
I think it’d be bizarre for them to bring back the old look of Chief (and hopefully the other Spartans) only to leave the Sanghelli in the newer art style, so here’s hoping.
It should be like a open world game in my opinion

I agree with both your ideas, it does seem logical that they’ll bring the old design hell ill be open to a slightly more sleeker more elegant and deadlier design as long as it keeps the iconic looks

Yeah, the Jul M’Dama Covenant armor is way too rounded and dull looking. I liked the old Covenant look where the armor was more angular, and had random parts that just fit sticking out of varying parts like the helmets used to have on the Elites.
