Alright so to start it off I just want to let everyone know this is my opinion but I hope a lot of people feel the same way I do. I will also be talking about the campaign so spoilers warning for anyone who hasn’t played it. “I would really like people to read my negatives at the bottom of the overall game” Thanks!
To kick it off lets start with the positives. The multiplayer is outstanding. I love the way the game feels and plays and is honestly my favorite Halo multiplayer for that. I absolutely LOVE warzone. There have been few games for a few years now that have had me addicted to a game mode like it’s a drug. Arena is also great. The game feels very balanced to me. I’m also surprised with the card system. I usually shun games with card systems but something about this game really makes me like them. 343 great job on the multiplayer!
Now for some campaign negatives. “Spoilers”
I’m going to start off with the campaign. I have rated every Halo campaign 10/10 until this game. I personally rate this campaign probably a 6. It wasn’t horrible but it could have been written way better. I also feel that the trailers and all this hype was very misleading. I expected this HUGE chase for chief and Locke but it was only for a part of the campaign really. I also feel like there are tons of holes in the campaign. Plus, it really goes quickly through some parts that are actually pretty huge like the falling of the covenant. It was only like 2 missions and it went by so quick? In that case I would expect long missions and explanation of why the covenant fell so easily. I also beat the campaign in only 4 hours. That’s really disappointing for me as a huge Halo fan. I’ll also add this as I see it bugs people but they don’t have split screen apparently? I don’t know since I don’t see the need for it anymore but I can see why people would be disappointed with playing halo with their kids and what not.
Now for overall negatives that REALLY bug me.
One thing that really bugs me is I do not see a file share system. This is what made me REALLY LOVE HALO is being able to play custom modes with friends. This is VERY disappointing for me. I loved on Halo 3 where you could see the top game modes, map, screenshots of the week. I loved going through them all and playing with friends. I love looking at peoples file shares to see something new. I also miss in general those large custom game lobbies. 343 if you read this it would be amazing if you added something like this to Halo 5 in a update or something. Another huge thing that angers me IS NO GRIFBALL!! WTF 343 REALLY?? COME ON… PLEASE BRING IT BACK. IF YOU DON’T I DON’T THINK I CAN BUY ANOTHER HALO TO BE HONEST. Just kidding of course. I also see there is no infection but I expect them to add it later with forge. Just sucks that its not available at launch. I am also a tad disappointed with armor coloring and emblems not being able to make them your own style.
