WRATH - Looks half-finished. The knife is in the wrong place, the grenade bandoliers are missing from the chest, and there’s no secondary armor color as far as I can tell; never mind that you can’t color the right shoulder red if you want it to look like Emile, it just makes customization of the armor really limited. 0/10
INDOMITABLE - Almost, but not quite. Right shoulder looks ridiculous, like it’s been pancaked. Also, the knee guards are too small. Shame, Jorge was my favorite… 6/10
VIGILANT - At least they got one armor set right. Only part that’s inaccurate is the back, which looks like the back of NOBLE armor with Jun’s ghillie-suit thrown over it. Other than that, I’d say they did pretty good on this one. Now I can play as Jun in Halo 5! And it’s pretty much canon, since Jun is still alive… 9/10
INTRUDER - There’s that horrible white paint that we all hate so much, and the shoulders are too fat and rounded, much like Mark VI. It’s also missing the robotic arm. 5/10
One problem that’s present on all of these armor sets is the colored bodysuit. I really hope 343i gives us the option to toggle the bodysuit color OFF in the next update; c’mon 343i, people have been asking for this since Halo 4. I’m tired of my Spartans running around in colored undies, especially with the Reach armor.
As a guy who is a huge stickler for armor and design, I’ve gotta say, they’re fantastic.
OP is the mother of all nitpicks

I agree, some people can’t understand these aren’t supposed to be exact replicas.
(Intruder) That’s not white paint.
It’s Moa droppings.

And nobody wants Moa droppings on their armor…
I’ve been rocking Jun’s armor with the Mark IV helmet. I think they go together quite nicely. Something I always wanted to do in Reach.
Dear Arcky,
If you have paid any attention this is a memories of reach update. Not a full blown prop replication. These armors were designed as canon for Spartan 4. This means that unless you tell every spartan that wants to wear Kats iconic armor they have to remove their armor and replace it with a robotic one, otherwise stop complaining.
Sincerely
Guy that’s tired of repeat threads.
PS. The Elite that stabbed Emile in the back also severed off the grenade bandoleers. Due to the fact they were an unofficial equipment and could not be located after glassing, the design team decided that instead of trying to guess the size of the grenades and worry about people nitpicking over the fact they are the 50mm instead of 40mm grenades that they would just remove them in general. And since apparently the location of the knife is worth 33% of judging the accuracy of his armor, We have deemed we made the right choice.
You do realize that they weren’t trying to make exact pixel by pixel replicas, right?
inspired by reach… is emiles chest in reach called wraith???

They should’ve made the armor as close to the original as possible. They did a good job with Jun’s armor; but the rest? Leaving out Emile’s bandoliers is just lazy, and I don’t know why they pancaked Jorge’s right shoulder; I’ve heard people mention something about hitboxes, but does the hitbox need to be the exact same size and shape of the object?
These armors are the best armors done in this game yet. Whoever designed them should be made head of design they are much more militarized Instead of looking like a mighty morphing power -Yoink-!.

To me, the Mark IV and V look too similar to tell a difference.

that and jorge got obliderated into particles so its very likely his armor design went with him considering that almost all noble team seems to have self customized armor in that game

That looks absolutely magnificent! I feel like I should do the same once I unlock both of those armours.

that was my idea the moment I saw that vigilant still had the cape (sadly I don’t have Mk IV I wish I did)

Guys be careful I think the OP has lice, he’s nit picking a lot…
I think the new armors are some of the best in the game. But I’m not a big canon guy. This update is straight up solid, imo.
Ha! OP gave Emile’s a 0/10. That makes me laugh.

If the game is going to fair, then yes, the hitbox and the object have to be the same size. For a cosmetic option such as armor, each piece has to fit the same hitbox otherwise it begins to interfere with gameplay. Hitbox is too big and the players take damage when not getting hit, too small and players don’t take damage when their armor is hit. In addition, Jorge’s armor had to be scaled down in general (a spartan II is larger than a spartan IV) while also having to fit the spartan IV hitbox.
