I just wanted to express some of my opinions (and those of my Spartan company) of the game that I am upset with.
Why did 343i decide to take out body collision from multiplayer? The fact that you can’t “bump” into each other is terrible. I have been in multiple gun fights with other players where we go through one another, turn around and look for each other and eventually someone gets a melee from the inside.
Lunge on melee is broken. Sword and hammer cannot “zoom”. The hammer is too slow. There is no direct one on one “stopper” to counter the sword.
The ravager is most worthless weapon in the game, even though it looks cool.
The ranking system seems broken and similar to that of Halo 5. Bring back the ranking system of Halo 3!
The map, Behemoth is terrible for 4 v 4. Too open and too many players that farm spawn points.
Paying $20 for a color coating seems like a giant slap in the face. I understand that with a free to play game 343i has to make money, but make it by selling rare armor sets. Let me put whatever color I want on the parts of my Spartan that suits my style. I would not mind buying “cat ears” or a “horn (Halo 5)” for $5.00, but $20? GTFOH!
Why isn’t split screen an option? They promised there would be split screen.
No multiplayer campaign at launch? Halo 5 got a lot of crap for a short campaign but at least you could play with your friends. And since we are talking about short campaigns, it feels like Halo Infinite is the shortest one to date. I hope there is more coming and I hope we won’t have to spend another $60 to play it. There are still so many unanswered questions, even with the legendary ending. This game did a horrible job trying to crawl out of the hole that was dug with the ending of Halo 5. I want to see how the Guardians were destroyed by the Banished.
Why is big team battle broken? Why is it that my squad is not all on the same fire team within BTB?
Vehicles feel sloppy compared to previous games. The wasp seems like the only vehicle that players attempt fight for anymore.
Why is it that on the multiplayer lobby, you only see 4 members of your fireteam? Why not more? And why is my character always standing in the front despite not being the fire team leader?
Does anyone else feel the commando is horrible? I’m sure there are players out there who are great with the weapon, but from what I have experienced so far, the only people who are accurate with this weapon are cheaters. Moded controllers or hackers on the PC.
Why can’t we turn off cross play when we have 4 people in the lobby? If we are all on Xbox, why don’t have the option to only play others on the Xbox? No offense to PC players, but I’m tired of dealing with hackers.
343i, please show us that you are listening to our concerns! This game is supposed to last for 10 years!
How can it live that long if you don’t at least address it publicly, even if you don’t plan on fixing something. Just tell us what you are going to fix and what you are not.
I’m by no means “quitting” the game, but I would enjoy the game so much more if you addressed 50% of the stuff I have complained about. I know I am not alone with some of this stuff. And I realize that there are people on this forum that love everything. This is just my opinion.
