This is my opinion of the multiplayer and customization of halo infinite.
(let´s consider that i based my opininon of the customization in the other halo games except halo 5 because never plaied it)
The multiplayer of halo infinite is very good, but quite incomplete; It has very few game modes compared to other halo games and you get bored after playing a few games, but what I have clear is that the missing modes will be added, and even more (maybe).
The halo infinite customization is horrible; many helmets and, in general, armor pieces cannot be obtained for free and you have to pay for most of them (I understand that the game is “free to play” and that is its business mode, but neither does the campaign offer you any armor pieces ).
I consider the coatings as a way to get money, this because they could perfectly use the selection of colors of the old halo, but now you need to have a coating that of course, some are obtained by paying.
With the emblems the same; They could use the old halo system, but they put predefined emblems and you can only change the color of them (I know it would be difficult to put the customizable emblems since these are also available to place them on vehicles, weapons and armor, but they could make the emblems customizable were only available on service tags).
The prices are high (let´sconsider that I live in Latin America) and some things in the store even cost the price of a video game, which seems quite strange to me since I do not think that the things that are sold cost too much work to make, but I do not know about this because I am not a 3D designer.
The battle pass is very “strange” (let’s consider it the first one they made) the free rewards are not very rewarding; most are challenges changes and coatings. As for the premium battle pass rewards, there are some armor items that cannot be placed individually (such as Emile’s shoulder pads) and that more items from the Halo Reach armor were being sold rather than coming in the pass from battle.
I have an idea of how all that could have been improved:
If I managed the rewards of the battle pass, the mark V core would have been free and a few armor pieces (from the same core) but the most demanded armor pieces would have belonged to the premium battle pass
(It should be noted that all the armor pieces of the pass would only belong to the mark V core,).
As for the pieces of armor of the core mark VII they would have been obtained by completing weekly challenges or they would be sold in the store.
Also, as a reward for having bought the Halo Infinite campaign (to try to imitate the large amounts of armor that they gave you when paying for the old games) they would have given you a “key” that would unlock a free battle pass.
That´s my opinion, what do you think?
