Dear 343 Industries,
I have thoroughly enjoyed playing through Halo Combat Evolved’s campaign again. The terminals were awesome and I’m still trying to hunt down a few skulls. Honestly, this is game of the year for me. Halo Combat Evolved on the Xbox was a big part of my childhood/middle school years and I feel like Anniversary respects the original so well.
I do have a couple of thoughts/annoyances/problems I wish to bring to the table, though:
1. Online co-op is ridiculously laggy. - There is a major problem with co-op play over live. The 2nd player/non-host encounters lag in controller response. I feel like a title update could fix this…please fix this.
2. Multiplayer needs more maps. - I love the remastered maps…but where’s Blood Gulch? The map that MADE Halo’s multiplayer… It’s on Reach. How the heck did it not appear in CEA? The way I see it, CEA should collect the remakes of Halo 1 and 2’s maps, that were in Reach already, and keep them all organized in one game. Also, will we ever see DLC for CEA/Reach that includes more classic maps? I’m thinking Chill Out, Sidewinder, and Chiron from Halo: CE, and Lockout and Turf from Halo 2 should see a comeback for CEA. I don’t mind CEA recycling Reach’s MP instead of porting the original MP, but if you guys are going to do it, don’t half–Yoink- the map selection. You did exactly that.

This thread is soo pointless. Everything that you have posted has been answered months ago. Seriously. Do some research.

I know some people don’t consider Hemorrhage = Blood Gulch but for me it is close enough. They could have tweaked it a bit and thrown it in. I would love to play the anniversary gametype on it. Maybe in a playlist update.
Online Co-op is forever ruined since halo 3, idk why they continue to do w/e they do, but that’s the way it is.
And the map is called hemmorage, in case you forgot.

Indeed. I thought Hemorrhage was fantastic. It seemed decently close to the original too (minus the rocks near one of the teleporters). If they can release a free map pack for CEA that brings over the Reach remakes for classic maps, that’d be sick too.
