Pretty much everything in the Winter Update is changing the game for the better EXCEPT some of the playlist changes:

Removing Ranked Doubles and Ranked FFA. These are staple modes and some of my favourites. I cant see any reason they need to be removed. The population of the ENTIRE game is bad right now, the Winter Update is likely going to draw at least some population back so why dont we wait until after to see how playlists perform when there is a healthier population (and the ranked improvements are in effect too)? Especially since most people WOULD play these modes if the ping wasnt terrible, FFA was 6 players and Doubles had less frequent power weapon spawns (and maybe Oddball and CTF too).

Removing Team Snipers and the social fun playlists (Social Slayer, Big Team Social) seems like a mistake. The game NEEDS these more casual fun playlists. People dont play Team Snipers because Brute Snipers and Shotty Snipers are still in the playlist. And most people loved Big Team Social especially, so I dont see why that needs to be removed.
Having rotating playlists is great for the game but it shouldnt come at the cost of losing stuff we already had and only getting to play it for a week at a time every month or so.
