My online receipt changed?

I’m reaaally sorry if this has been asked a billion times and I’m also sorry if this doesn’t belong here…

I pre-ordered Halo 4 LE online from BestBuy.ca about 3 months ago now, and have been receiving emails every so often reminding me that “the item is awaiting its release date”, blah blah blah. Then it lists my order about halfway through the email.

It was always shown in my emails as “Halo 4 Limited Edition - With Pre-order Bonus”.
But a few days ago I got an email from them and it changed to “Halo 4 Limited Collector’s Edition (XBOX 360) - English”

As you can see… no more “with pre-order bonus”.

I emailed them pretty much right away (which was 4 days ago now) asking if they can confirm I will be getting my bonus content with my order…but I have not gotten a response back. I’m trying to be patient about it but it keeps getting closer and closer to the day of release. I want to make sure I’m getting what I pre-ordered for.

My question is: Has this happened to you? What did you do? Was it solved & clearly explained to you? What else do you think I should do?

my order has changed as well to say the same thing. i called walmart and they said that my pre-order bonus will be sent with the game. so i would say just call them up and make sure it is coming with the game.

I was thinking of calling them, but because I’m ordering online, how do I know which location to call. The closest one? Or do I need to phone HQ or something lmao. Also if they tell me it’s NOT coming with my order…well let’s just say I really suck at sounding angry on the phone to get what I want from someone and will probably just be like “oh :C…okay…”

when i called walmart they asked for my tracking number wich was found on my online orders and thats what they based it off of hope this helps i will be cheaking back to see if you got you problem resolved

If you wanted quick confirmation i’d suggest you try tweeting there official Twitter.

I did the same with a different store and they tweeted me right back within the hour.

You’ll get your pre-order bonus. They made a pretty big thing about retail-specific pre-order bonuses. The chance they’d prevent you from getting a downloadable code, as a pose to a pre-order physical item like a helmet, is pretty unlikely so unless they email you stating they are out of stock or you cancel your preorder and order on or after the 6th of November then you will definately receive your delicious pre-order DLC.

I’m curious about a trivial little thing as to whether the stores have their preorder dlc already packed IN the game’s box or whether its in a little package on the side. Although it could get lost or stolen if it were separate physically from the game’s case.

Thanks guys. I tried sending them a tweet. Had to find BestBuy Canada’s twitter instead though. I hope I get a response (I rarely get responses from any major companies on Twitter…even Xbox Support lol). I hope that I’m worrying for nothing. It was stated I would get it so I’m sure they wouldn’t just go back on their advertisement. Guess I’m just being over eager and over worrying.
