My one an ONLY issue with Halo 5

I love the ADS feature is a great addition to Halo, but the fact that you get zoomed out when getting hit makes this feature very pointless. In order for me to be able to use the ADS feature, I litterally have to go against my opposition to camping an have to camp to use this feature. It doesn’t make sense. Also, Logic says, "you’re a spartian, you’re a SUPERsoldier with heavy armor, you should be allowed to take hits an still remain aiming Down the sight at his target. If they could get rid of zooming out when getting hit feature, that’ll be great. It’s a MUST if you want to have the ADS feature.

Descope has been in every Halo except for Halo 4. The guns zoom the same as they always have. The “ADS” is just an animation on top of the traditional zoom (there’s a bit of an accuracy boost with the AR & SMG, but that’s a different argument) but the BR & DMR work exactly like they always have, only now we see a projection of the sights instead of just a circular reticle.

I am in favor of descope. I find that without it, you have no defense against a sniper who can hold their zoom while taking fire.

^THIS^

Lmao if they remove de-scope, people would riot. It was a huge feedback on Halo 4 to implement de-scope, so there is no way Halo 5 will remove it

Descope has to stay, its too important of a mechanic to remove.

you can nearly always tell when someone got into the franchise by the type of gameplay they expect to be maintained

de scope is fine, but there is still flinch during hip fire. Flinch has to go imo. Its not an engaging fun process, and I will walk away from Halo 5 like I did with Halo 4 if there is flinch.

My biggest issue right now is how the auto aim functions. Auto aim is way too strong, and covers an area well outside of a target. The sensitivity drop inside the auto aim box is WAY too high. Simply having your reticle near a target causes the reticle to get completely stuck in the mud. This in turn causes people to over compensate for the reticle being stuck, and in turn over-aim. People are over aiming so much, there was an illusion that this game has “low” auto aim. But it doesn’t, the auto aim is massive.

343 - auto aim should work like a magnet, not a generic sensitivity drop. A vector force applied to the reticle that assists it toward a target, but never fights the reticle from arriving on target. The sensitivity drop acts like a hill that my reticle needs to climb in order to get the reticle on target. Its like having the reticle hit a wall right before landing on target. This makes the core fundamental process of pointing-and-shooting awful. This above all else, will ruin Halo 5. You MUST make the mechanics of auto aim benefit the fundamental process of pointing and shooting.

This is why the should make spartians flinch when shot (like they did for Halo 4) so that snipers have a hard time sniping yah. I’m telling yah, for the ADS feature, they need to dump the descope. You don’t see yourself getting des oped in Destiny do yah? An they have ADS too.

I’m all for the descope feature back when they didn’t have ADS. But since this game has ADS, it has to go. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, an this is mine.
