My Noble 6 theory

I know this is late but I just want to see if you guys and gals think it’s possible.

First of all let’s start with what I know. (Spoiler Alert!)

  1. Noble 6 has one of the best records against insurrectionists
  2. Noble Team becomes an ONI asset at the end of the campaign
  3. Aszod is near some mountains.
  4. Humans revisit Reach before the end of the war (John returns and finds Spartans in the mountains even though the whole planet was glassed, so its possible to survive a glassing)
  5. The campaign is from the point of Noble 6’s head mounted camera as we discover at the end of Lone Wolf
  6. Spartans always follow orders.

Now what I can conclude from these facts (I’m probably mad for thinking this)
If humanity one the war ONI would certainly realize that there would be greater numbers of insurrectionists than ever before. Therefore they would certainly look to preserve assets that they could later use against these insurrectionists, and if they were pressed could probably get a ship to Reach during the time of Halo CE.
So what if Six was ordered to go back into the mountains, but wanted to stand and fight. He was then picked up by an ONI ship days later, from the mountains, where he’d been hiding whilst Reach was glassed (in the Package you go through a tunnel network in the mountains, he could have even hidden in those tunnels).
He was then kept in a cryo-tube for Halo’s 2 and 3, and de-iced when the insurrections started again for his pre-Reach style ops with a different call sign. Meanwhile ONI spread the word that he was dead (told everyone, even Halsey) and used him as a martyr. They then produced the recording of his death to back up their claim, which had been created using computers.

So in summary, what I’m suggesting is that the Lone Wolf mission in campaign didn’t actually happen and 6 escaped days later on an ONI ship from the mountains.

> So in summary, what I’m suggesting is that the Lone Wolf mission in campaign didn’t actually happen and 6 escaped days later on an ONI ship from the mountains.

And what evidence would support this theory? You can’t just arbitrarily pick what is or isn’t canon.

Noble Six is dead people. Time to move on.

I like to believe that he died. I like when heroes sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

Bungie and 343 Industries confirmed that he died years ago. That would make your theory incorrect.

Ah well worth a shot

Honestly, what’s more intriguing to me than what he would potentially do should he have survived is what he did before the events of Halo: Reach. All the blacked out stuff ONI didn’t want anyone to see. That’s the stuff I’ve been hungry to find out about.

He’s Dead, Jim

ONI could of sent a ship to reach during the events of halo CE. The problem is it would of been destroy since there was a lot a covenant at reach during CE. When John went back to reach and found the surviving Spartans and Whitcomb they were in an area that had not been glassed, if I remember correctly.
