My theory is that we are getting a needle turret with different variants. The ultra rare variant will be like the Grunt Goblins needler, nerfed to some extant obviously

No offense taken. I just do not see a “revolutionary” weapon coming out of the update, and this seems to be the most likely candidate for being able to take down air vehicles so easily and “toting” it around the map. The only thing throwing me is the “ONIssions” statement. I guess we will see soon enough

I have seen that, i just don’t really see that as “easily taking out banshees, phaetons, and wasps” or as “toting one around”. Just my opinion though. The grenade launcher, while very effective with EMPing, is a difficult weapon to use. We will just wait and see though

Well the fact that its variant is an Ultra Rare implies the original is a rare. The fact it ibliterates aircraft implies it has some sort of tracking projectile and most likely an explosive. No idea.

Even though if you go to the link that waypoint admins posted to the twitter page regarding the next update they said the plasma launcher isn’t coming.
