My new Halo machinima series - Feedback?

Hello all, I bring to you my new Halo machinima series, “DAWN OF REVOLUTION”. Enjoy.

Episode 1

It is has been five years since the Great War with the Covenant. The Spartans were the victors, but not all victors get the spoils. The war was only just the beginning. In the aftermath, Spartans began to turn Rogue, driven by the urge to kill and quest for power, a group of Rogue Spartans rose to power. Led by former war hero, Chancellor Gregory, the group is only seen wearing variants of grey and white armor, they consider Spartans who wear anything else to be traitors. But on the opposition, a group of Rebels led by another former war hero, General Danson, have taken matters into their own hands. They wish to bring down Chancellor Gregory and his Rogues, who now dictate the entire galaxy. The Rebels wish to bring back Democracy. Rumor has it that Danson and Gregory both served in the same squad during the Great War. But now pitted against each other, Chancellor Gregory has ordered the capture and execution of all Spartans not wearing white or grey colored armor…

Each season will contain 6 episodes. Comments, feedback, and suggestions are always welcome.

Also, be aware that that I am working on Season 2 and if you would like to help act in future episodes then message me on XBL, GT: Adam429

The voice acting could use a little work, and maybe some more scenery could be manipulated to fill the role, but otherwise, it looks like a solid start.

I would be down, but personally I’d probably just throw too much ideas at you, I’ve been working on a story line of one, it’s been over four days now and I’m pretty sure I have a good background story, involves war games, red vs blue teams, and modern warfare. I just need a capture card or a group of people, in which one having a capture card.

To be blunt, I can’t tell if this is suppose to be a comedy or not.

As for the editing and voice acting:

The voice acting could use work. I can hear the voice actors blowing into their mics as they’re speaking, which got very irritating, very fast. There could also be much more emotion in the acting.

As for the editing, I noticed a lot of shots that were paused, but you still used them. The last shot for example, when the camera was behind the Chancellor and his guard, the shot was paused, but the camera was still moving. I’ve noticed this in a lot of dialogue scenes as well. Just work on using footage where the characters are actually moving (breathing).

I would also refrain from using footage of actually people in a machinima. It just doesn’t fit.

Just keep practicing, and you’ll improve!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually have improved the voice acting in the later episodes and next season will have even better voices.

And to answer Poco Timmy’s question, there is supposed to be a little comedy but for the most part it’s a serious machinima. Thanks again.
