My mark, my spartan

When the Halo 4 menu pops up, and you scramble rapidly to edit your Spartan to make your identity in the world, do you stick with that identity? Or do you consistently edit your Spartan’s emblem and color to suit your current wants?

Da hell…: Do you stick with your emblem // colors or do you change them often?

I keep changing it until I realize that the default armor looks the best.

Wait, you can already customize your Halo 4 Spartan? how?

I’ve had the same emblem since Halo 3. Unless Halo 4 gives me more options Im sticking to it! =] I usually stick with the same colors as well but it would be nice if had more colors.

Second I get H4, im playing with all the menus then going to campaign =] =] =]

I allways stick to the same emblem ( 7 in display ) and I usually change armour maybe once a month.

I change my H3 spartan all the time. But I’ve kept my Reach spartan the same for ages, because it’vs very easy to create a unique character in Reach. One of the few things Reach actually did right IMO.

Although I never cared for emblems in either games, as you won’t create a truly unique one unless we get an emblem editor like black ops. Although, that does cause…other problems…

> Wait, you can already customize your Halo 4 Spartan? how?

no… you can’t. He’s saying when you get the game.

I edit based on my wants and who I’m playing with. I suppose if I came up with something unbelievably incredible, I would keep it.

I change myself gradually over time until I get the look I want, then I stick with it while making minor changes. Usually don’t change the helmet (CQB), as your helmet is your “face” in the game. It’s what people notice first, and what some people know you by. I myself recognize armor configuration before a gamer tag.

I stick with it. My armor has hardly changed since release lol. The only changes i made was to one of the shoulders and then adding the haunted helmet

In Halo 3, I always had my armour as tank-y S-II armour. Massive armour that hugged your body really well, like My Halo 3 Spartan.

Halo Reach looks like they gave you Spartan II armour for a smaller S-III, so the armour’s huge and it’s like clothes that are too big for you, like The Security shoulders.

So I tend to keep my Halo 3 armour the same, but ALWAYS change my Halo Reach armour. Because it looks good at first, but then you just get annoyed by the two-sizes-too-big feel, and change again. Well, that’s just me…

I never change my emblem, :3.

the only thing i would change is my color or my head and even then its either security or the chiefs so not much change.

I stick w/ a certain identity that I’ve kept since Halo 3. So the ODST helmet better be in Halo 4 or I’ll be pissed.

I usually have runes on the display for an emblem. My Halo 3 spartan and elite stay the same, and in Reach I change everything except for my Pilot helmet and grenadier knees. When Halo 4 comes out I’ll probably experiment with the permutations as I unlock them until I find a good combination.

I change emblem to SPARTAN II emblem and fiddle about with the armor for a while… after i do the campaign

After I unlock all of the armor I generally keep one look.

H3 I used rogue, scout/eva shoulders and katana chest.

Reach I switch between scout/pilot, sniper/odst shoulders and scout chest.

As for emblems I change every game.

Well in Reach I generally keep the three sets of armor.

One that is as close to Master Chief as possible, the other is the same as the spartan you see when you click the start button and go to the armory (the spartan in the upper right corner). The other is the one I’ve most used, it’s a rendition of my take on Iron Man armor in Reach. JFO helmet for certain with Red and Yellow markings.

The emblem is different for each. MC has (4) in blue colors, Armory has a red X with a blue crosshair over it, Iron Man has that multi pointed star with the small circle behind it. Those in various blue colors. It denotes the chest power core of Iron Man.

Other than those three, I seldom change. When I do it’s usually just for a game or so to see how it looks in game, or just in the armory alone to see what I can do with different armor and color combos.

I change it pretty much every time I play. Often multiple times per session.

Off the bat my colours and emblem will change quite a lot, then as I start to learn what works I’ll stick with one for a while. I still change them up the keep things fresh, but I find there will always be certain styles that I keep coming back to.
