When I tell people online that I getting the Halo 4 xbox they tell me that I should save my money and wait to get the new xbox that will be coming out in 2013. I thought about this long and hard. I decided to get the xbox. I did this because when ever a new console comes out there are always tons of glitchs like RROD ext. and Halo 4 is for the xbox 360 why not play it on there. My plan is that I will buy the Limited Edition for Halo 5 for the new xbox. By then hopefully all the kinks will be worked out.

I’m getting it, my Reach console is going out, I desperately need new controllers and the extra disc space is great too. Not to mention I love collecting Halo swag and the in-game bonuses are awesome.
Though that’s just me, as I said I’m not here to hold your hand through this decision.
I’ve thought about buying one, in my mind there’s the question of backwards compatibility. We don’t know yet if we would be able to play 360 games on the next Xbox. For me if H4 is anything like the previous Halos I would be playing it for a long time and most launch titles seem to be a bit lame.
Its ugly and cost to much money for a older system …
But if you need one then maybe although there’s cheaper ones out there -for sure

They’re not being jerks. The truth of the matter is, if you’ve made up your mind and have nothing really to discuss, there’s no point in telling the forum about it. This isn’t a social networking site where you put your whole life on display. Just for future reference 
I wanted community feedback for if my decision was correct, so if everyones going to rude and uncontructive then you individuals should look before you post and be helpful instead of the problem/ stay on topic.

Your decision is your decision. You shouldn’t use these forums as a way of justifying a decision you’ve already made.

Guys from just reading his first comment he’s just trying to tell people about him getting it and helping other people decide. Stop being jerks.
New xbox in 2013, whoever told you that garbage is smoking some good grass, more like 2014-2015 with 2015 seeming more probable. I will also be ordering the LE Console, its simply a nice collectors item and looks fantastic and is guaranteed to likely last far after the bugs as you said are removed, and fixed in the new xbox. Dont bother with anyone whos trolling you, a few of them have posted truly meaningless topics in the past, and in general people who troll over the LE Console are most likely jealous that you are able to purchase it while they are not. Most Halo fans will find a way to purchase it, and you are not alone in being one of the lucky ones that get to.
