My list of things that we need in Halo Wars 2

So here is what I believe the vast majority of players who played the original Halo Wars want from it’s sequel.

1: More unit types. More unit variety IS NEVER a bad thing, unless the balancing is bad. Some units that make it into everyone’s list are the Mantis, the Falcon, and the Heavy Marines.
OR
Branching Unit upgrades. Infantry can become ODST, and drop anywhere, or they can become heavy infantry, and utilize SAWs and Railguns to do more DPS. This would vary Unit to Unit greatly, as while marines are highly customizable, tanks generally are not.

  1. A good story! We want the continuation of the Spirit of Fire. That is what we want. THAT IS ALL WE WANT. Really, I see no need at all for us to control any other faction, or any other part of the UNSC, so long as this campaign is as high quality as the first game’s campaign.

  2. Slightly branching narrative, and choices.
I’m going to use Starcraft II as an example of what this could look like. In Starcraft II Wings of Liberty, you play as Marshall Jim Raynor and his group of Rebels. Over the course of the game, you make several minor decisions that affect CHARACTER ARC, NOT THE MAIN STORY. It also has you interact with your companions in between missions onboard your ship. Which would be really cool lore-wise.

3.The Spirit of Fire
Another choice that could be implemented into Halo Wars 2, is the introduction of customizable Spirit of Fire orbital abilities. In the first game you could only use a number of choices, determined by your leader. I suggest we get to customize our “wheel” of abilities to be as offensive or defensive as we like, at the cost of some abilities having a significantly longer charge time.

Spartans:

whispers If you bring a Spartan IV into this game, that somehow drags the spotlight off the Mark IV Spartan II, I will find you, and I will kill you.

I agree with you all the way.

I would rather have a linear story to get more from the lore but I don’t think spartan IV will be in the game

YEs please for the love of chief, give us Spartan II’s. Not the -Yoink- IV’s

i agree with ur spartan thing (lol) but i think we should still have the 4’s as a lesser version of the 2’s. also we need more factions, ideas are unsc, covenant, brutes, swords of sangheilios, prometheans, rebels, and the ability to use sentinals the same way u could in the first game. oh and lets not forget about the flood! as painful as it was to fight them in most games, i really feel like that its what the newer halos r lacking. and they BETTER NOT forget the scarab!

We have 4626472 other Threads that discuss exactly the same thing, your wishes have been said amd discussed 556374633 times.

Next time please scroll down a little bit and write you “wishes” in a thread that already discus them…
Thats why no1 is in this forum, ghe same stuff over and over again.

Personally, I’d be fine with the story picking up right from where the original Halo Wars left off. If anyone remembers the legendary ending it ends with Serina telling Cutler that the ship needs him or something along those lines (It’s been awhile since I’ve played it)

If this is covenantwar era 9/10 it will be Spartan iv were made after the great War

Are 343 making this game?
