I have the legendary REX visor. It says “… Capable of identifying optical aberrations associated with… Active camouflage…”. Now I know we all naturally assume armor and visors are cosmetic only, but I swear I was more easily able to identify cloaked people. It could be the placebo effect, but anyone know for sure? I’m not sure how to do screenshots here but I can take a pic of the description.
Dude… If that is True. … you have my thx.
If they actually gave it any gameplay advantage, there would be riots against 343, that being said, there is no way they would ever do that.
huh, never knew visors gave you abilities. i thought the description was just for show. Apparently i might be wrong
Can anyone using gallows confirm whether or not your head explodes after you die?

They don’t.
It’s gotta be Placebo.

Lol…that scene from Kingsmen, SPARTAN style. ^^
cue the song Pomp & Circumstance by Edward Elgar
idk it could be like in halo 4 where if you wore the wetwork armor your assassinations were faster.
No… It’s in your head …
I swear some people seem to have extra perfection with some armor. I know it’s not the way it is but it seems that way at times.
That would be sick if each visor gave you some visual buff or ability.
Definitely Placebo effect. Armor pieces have never given advantages.

But that wasn’t a thing. Armor in Halo 4 was purely cosmetic.
Placebo effect.

Well, the explosive charges are kinda faulty. It only explodes if the fail-safe is triggered by another explosion, such as a rocket or a grenade.

Yeah, the wetwork “Perk” increased assssination speed and reduced foot noise I think?
Notice it only says in BRUTE camouflage systems. Brutes, which, we don’t encounter in Halo 5’s multiplayer or campaign. I’m guessing it’s less advanced than ones used by humans or Covenant.
I just want the Magenta visor
