so earlier to day i played some grifball put on my RP boost (legendary) and i accidentally betrayed a guy 3 times because he kept on walking in front of me while i was fighting another enemy. then he decided to boot me and i lost my RP boost.
my recommendation to 343 is to remove betrayal kicking
my note to grifball players don’t put on any boosts
that should be fixed. whoever boots in grifball has obviously never played before. they will hopefully learn in time. soory for your loss, mate :’(
When you lag out of a match before even the intro starts 4 different times after you use a Rare boost then you can talk.
But in all seriousness that -Yoink- sucks & I know how it feels…as I explained above. Also 343 definetly needs to remove betrayal booting from Grifball ASAP. I have no idea why they added it in the first place.

Agreed. What did they expect in a Gravity Hammer filled game, no accidental/purposeful teamkills? It’s bull that booting is in Grifball of all games.
There were a few twitter posts from 343 developers yesterday that said they were on this. Should be fixed soon. That -Yoink- sucks man, sorry for the loss.

There’s tons of threads already wanting to get rid of betrayal for Grif ball, but honestly people just need to stop being butt hurt and just play the game.

FFS it happens to EVERYONE. It’s completely unavoidable. People playing in the LEAGUES, good players, betray. It’s happens.
So the moral of the story is don’t use legendary boosts in the first place. I’m very afraid I’ll waste it every time, which is why I only use xp and rp boosts. For instance, I’m the king of assists in Warzone assault, get a wingman every life, but who knows the next battle will give no assists at all. The same can be said for victory boosts, your victory spree could end the second you decide to use the boost. It’s not much of a problem, I prefer collecting them and using the extras, but even then only XP and RP. I have never used assist boosts and when I tried to use a victory boost, I lost. I have one legendary RP boost, and I’m not planning on using it anytime soon.
I know the feeling man. It’s even worse when you’re dropped from a winning warzone game for absolutely no reason other than your connection just saying “no.”

I don’t think they added it, they just forgot to remove or adjust it. Also no betrayal booting will lead to trolling for quick RP. I’ve already been betrayed many times on purpose. People are -Yoinks!-, this is the internet, you do the maths!
Your mistake was using a legendary RP boost in grifball in the first place. The majority of games are short and you don’t get much RP to begin with which means you’ll get a lot less RP with your boost.
i think the worst thing about grifball on halo 5 is the boosters , yes i have seen people holding the bomb whilst being outside the map , so 343 if your reading this make the walls higher or put a roof on the arena . on the case about the betraying and booting off , i think its acceptable to boot someone if they betray , so long as they are replaced straight away .

making the walls higher will not help they need to make it an instant death area
