I doubt you’re the only one, but I’d say it isn’t a popular opinion. From a story perspective it would Be H5 followed by reach imo. From a multiplayer perspective it would be h4 followed by CE or Reach imo.
I’d say from a pretty objective standpoint, Halo 5 is the “worst”. Obviously, it’s a pretty subjective and opinion based question, so results will vary.

I thought 3 was pretty good, not as good as people say it was though. i didnt like ODST at all though

I feel the same way about H3 and if Reach’s mp wasn’t linked to H:CEA I wouldn’t have bought Reach or given the series a second chance.

No, the story was fun, but the multiplayer was the worst. coming off of halo 2 which is fast paced and fun to halo 3 felt like i was walking in glue, plus awful hit detection, and half the guns were useless.

Half the guns did get useless like the Magnum. The Brute shot got worse in 3. And a lot others I dont remember.

the shotgun was so bad. you had to be kissing the guy for it to kill

Pretty much. Halo 2 Shotgun was pretty good.
Well. I like all the Halos…but my least favorite should be Spartan Assault/Strike. It’s like a second base Halo Wars
halo 3 had upwards of 20 weapons, but only a handful wer viable for multiplayer, the battle rifle was practically the only weapon people would use, and you would spawn with it in most game types, i dont miss halo 3 multiplayer, campaign was great though
