my latest analysis on problem

hey guys m0n5tercat here i’ve thought a lot about why halo 4 might now flow as well as halo 3 or many would say the dreaded word but i won’t say it…(it starts with c)

basically 343 added instant respawn and default sprint to halo. it works in other games (no names) but for some reason it doesnt work here. i thought about it and i realised the big difference is that the kill times are longer in halo, and it doesnt work well with these two additions. you can kill someone and then before your shields recharge they can run half way across the map and get you. we need either faster shield recharge times or longer respawns so there is a point to killing everyone on the enemy team. you can recharge your shields before the first person you killed hunts you down again.

basically the game would flow better with faster shield recharge and/or longer respawns…in my opinion…

I agree in principle. Current shield recharge time is a tad to long imo. This is particularly an issue due to instant respawns, as you can kill someone and they respawn and shoot you before you even have a chance to recharge shields.

Imo what we need is a respawn timer of at least 3 seconds, and possibly a second or so quicker recharge on shielding.

My biggest issue with the game right now is the Plasma Pistol. Vechicles are almost pointless and when you do get lucky in a game where your getting alot of kills with say the tank, gamers quit off of the other team. With Plasma nades being in loadouts and being able to board vechicles i think its time that the Plasma Pistol be set to its older Halo CE and Halo 2 settings where the EMP was used for popping shilds and not EMPing the vehicles

i agree with that for sure, the vehicles can be compoletely useless if the enemy team is smart enough to use plamsa pistols and nades in their loadouts
