My issues list I wrote down over the flight.

–NON-BUGS–
Consistently backing out of the drills by hitting escape, thinking it’ll put me back into the menu of the other weapons and instead going back to main menu.
Commando’s recoil doesn’t feel balanced and makes it worse to use in comparison to the Sidekick. While the BR may have a longer TTK, the recoil makes it way more consistent. The Sidekick’s TTK is the exact same and is more managable with one less headshot to kill.

–BUGS–
Rebinding push-to-talk crashes the game.
Controls being reset on crash sometimes.
Constant. Kicks. To. Menu. (When loading into a match and happens every other match more often then not.)
HOLY NET CODE WHEN THE HOST IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE. The rubber-banding is the worst I’ve EVER seen.
When killed, the player tag seems to be… odd looking? Not sure if this is intended or not.
HUD sometimes disappears (Might have to do with pressing ESC mid match)
“Problem with the Dedicated server.” (???)

–ADDITIONS–
Adding some sort of HUD Scaling slider would be a nice option, as the IFF tags can be a bit small and someone as moon-brain as me struggles to tell who’s who sometimes.
The ability to change the frequency of which our Spartans talk and change voice. (Full, Important/Calls, None)
Zoom In/Out binds (Please for the love of the Guardians, I hate using the S7 Sniper sometimes, I rarely use the 2nd zoom level and would rather just zoom back out most of the time.)

Sorry if this isn’t the best composed I don’t usually do this, but felt compelled with this since I really appreciate the work 343 is doing and want to give them as much feedback as I can critically can.

This is all good feedback (especially the Spartan chatter frequency option) but I would recommend just posting this on one of the dedicated threads at the top of the forum page so that you’re thoughts don’t get lost in the cascade of all the new topics people have been creating the last few days.

While they could change the headshot multiplier to nerf the damage somewhat they should leave the range alone. The Halo pistol has always had good range and that’s the way it should stay.

The only time the Commando’s recoil bothers me is when i’m scoped, which is rarely, but that’s just my playstyle. If you scope alot then for sure it’d suck

I think the communities issue with ther commando is that it seems like people think it’s MEANT to be fired fully auto. I think it’s meant to be tap fired, and the auto fire is there as a “last resort” when someone gets in real close.

Maybe. I was consistently able to drain shields and one-tap weakened Spartans from across the map, and was also on the receiving end of that description. Several times while I had a BR or commando, even. There’s no reason a pistol should be able to outperform those weapons at range. I think the pistol should be limited to being used to feather the trigger at very close range, but as it is, it feels like an only slightly toned down H5 magnum.
