My issue with GEN 3 armor

I’m not the biggest fan of the Infinite armor design
I know this is unpopular, but hear me out.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Halo: Reach MK V armor, and I really love 343’s take on it, but I don’t think it should be in Infinite.
I know that it’s Mjolnir Gen. 3, but looking at Chief’s armor and how it’s based on the “Package” armor from Halo: Legends, you would expect the multiplayer armor to take the same look and shape, with Reach style customization. But instead we’re getting 343 MK V passed off as Gen. 3, and armor pieces being takes from Reach and adding in some 343 spice.
Again, not saying I don’t like the armor. I love the look and feel of the armor, but I don’t think it should be a Reach ripoff.

the new armor does not not look like mark V because it is not Mark V, it is Mark VII, which is visually inspired by the Mark V**.**
Also, the reach style is Mark V**, not to be confused with the finalized version of Mark V that is seen in Combat Evolved**

Looking at the Halo: Reach Mark V armor, the chest and thigh armor looks exactly like the chest and thigh armor of GEN 3 used by multiplayer Spartans. Even looking at the toys for Infinite, we see that armor pieces such as the commando shoulder pieces of the sapper chest piece are being used in infinite.__</strong>

again, the Mark VII gen-3 is visually INSPIRED by the Mark V__. but there are slight differences even in the areas that look similar (chest and thigh armor pieces). we are seeing MCX figures with classic armor variants from reach (such as commando) because they will be returning in infinite as Mark VII versions. the reason that some of the MCX figures appear as their Mark V versions is because Mega Construx is re-using existing pieces from older figures due to style similarities, meanwhile the figure with the sapper chest plate is clearly shown using a Mark VII style because Mega has not made a sapper chest plate before this release.__</strong></strong></strong>

I prefer the older designs as well.
