Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with the same -Yoink- internet for quite some time now, and I’ve absolutely had enough with it. I can’t play a single match on Halo without getting the infamous black screen. So, lemme break it down for you.
I did a test on speedtest.net. I have never used speedtest before, but I noticed that others who have had trouble with internet were required to provide some info. So here you go:
Link to my speed results.
As you can see, I’m much lower than the national average. I even tried the test on other computers in my house, only to find that their tests are much more poor than the one on this computer. Could anyone offer me some information as to what is going on? I would greatly appreciate it.
If you’re meant to be getting better for your, contact your ISP and they should sort it out.
I’m unable to contact them tonight since they’re closed. However, about a week ago, I contacted them and asked if I could get a better internet speed. They now charge me $10 extra dollars for a service that doesn’t do -Yoink-. Instead, I’ll let them know that my speed isn’t the greatest, prove my case, and hopefully they’ll give me a better speed. If not, I’m through with TW ISP. I’ve been jipped out of my money too much from them.
Portforwarding, Open DMZ, and use wired.

Let’s see.
Portforwarding: No idea how to do this.
Open DMZ: What…I don’t even…what’s a DMZ?
Wired: I already have wired.
I’ve gotta techician coming on Monday. Apparently, my my router isn’t getting “sufficient power” to create a good speed. Thanks for all who helped.
