I won’t waste much time with an intro or anything, here is my list of stuff.

Gameplay is fun - Shooting guys is fun and feels solid. I love that they got rid of load outs <3- Mechanics feel good - I love the shield regen vs sprinting trade off. Also I kind of dig how you can “hover” while falling and aiming down sights. That is unique and a cool idea, in my opinion (obviously)- Weapons are satisfying - Each gun seems to have it’s own feel and that is distinctly Halo-like. Wish we could see how the Covenant weapons feel.- Accuracy is important - Unlike other modern shooters, Halo requires more than a just a few body shoots to put someone down. This encourages head shots, seeking out more powerful weapons, and also allows people to be able to escape without being killed.Dislikes

Bro culture doesn’t belong in Halo - The “Bro” high-five stuff in the victory screen has to go. It is down right awful and I genuinely feel embarrassed to appear in those win screens. They might as well be wearing backwards baseball caps and some sagging shorts- Aesthetics are cartoony, seem like a joke - A lot of the aesthetics are silly. Sound effects in video games are usually cool, but why do I need all the zips, zaps, and whistles just when I aim down my magnum? It feels really silly. The wind tunnel visual effect while sprinting is equally as silly.- Stop trying to tell me how much fun I’m having - Why so many medals and little acolytes that pop up on the screen after doing anything? Are we so bored with our games that we need these constant reminders of how much fun we’re having or how well we’re doing? I realize that is is sort of a “standard” of modern first person shooters to barrage players with these little rewards, but does the Halo audience really need those beyond the classic Double/Triple/ Overkill etc…?

I am absolutely serious. High fives? The taunting “come at me bro” gesture of the front Spartan. I would be embarrassed if anyone saw me playing a game with that victory screen, and I cringe every time I see it.

True but halo has done this for a long time and lots of people love it this is about the medals

You are fairly sensitive if that’s all it takes for you to be embarrassed. Just saying.
But more to the point, the glorified-introduction to each game does have to go. I just think it’s an unnecessary element. I have issues with games like FIFA that try to simulate ‘the game’ by having stoppage time between fouls where you can’t hit ‘A’ to skip to actually resuming gameplay. When I play a videogame, I want to be able to play. I don’t care about the fluff. The introduction, as it stands, is just that: fluff.
I am going to drop my opinion in here too. Ignore the stabilizers remark I’ve been informed of an option to fix that. Stabilizers need to go or be switched to their own personal button. Nothing more annoying than scoping in and floating in the air in a firefight. It also feels like the stabilizers slow down the overall movement. Fancy assassinations are neat but unnecessary if they were gone it would make for faster game play. Controls can feel pretty slow and sluggish at times, especially when switching to the sniper and trying to scope. Please don’t touch the grenades their perfect. Spartan bro’s are annoying, unnecessary, and slow down match time. Introduction into a slayer match isn’t really necessary if its to load the map that would be one thing but if it there to be there boo. Call outs are a nice thing even if people call them “nooby” its nice to hear good kill or nice shot when playing by yourself, since every gamer is a silent protagonist or a vacuum cleaner. Is there flinching? It seems like it, usually happens in close quarters fighting. The sniper rifle seems slow and bulky especially when trying to zoom, or maybe I just suck with it, or maybe that goes back to slow controls and input. Overall its enjoyable but there are some definite issues like I said earlier. Plenty of control options are nice to.

I appreciate your diagnosis of my sensitivity, but it isn’t needed. You don’t know me and have zero idea of what you’re talking about when it comes to who I am.
As for your point about the glorified intros, I am in complete agreement. For me, the same applies to the victory screen. It serves no purpose other than trying to make our e-peens harder.
