A quick rundown on my opinions on the test flight
Notes on sidekick: the sidekick feels bad, kills do not feel satisfying. It doesn’t do any justice as as weapon that you start off with, it feels as if it has lower damage. It does push me into using other weapons from the battlefield, while this may be what your going for it does more then push me, it makes me switch to another weapon. I cannot use it and call it viable, I’d rather use any weapon then the sidekick and that is not a good thing for the flow of combat and the game overall.
This is major to your game, the flow of combat is off and needs to be fixed. We need at least the option to use something that feels at least similar to the magnum. I feel like the inclusion of the sidekick rather than the magnum is damaging to your game though I can say I have gotten far more assaults rifle kills then I would typically
Grenade throw: feels nice. Rocket launcher feels very good with what seems to be improved AOE damage
Good feeling from assault rifle, kills feel nice
Shield animation is bad in my opinion, cannot tell if shield is there or not, the red outline looks bad. I understand need to know friendly from enemy but that doesn’t work. I get the income from armor color sells. If you can consider it, allow for ranked play to be red vs blue without the outlines. It’s far to hard to see if an enemy has shields or not. It is not a good look for the game, I have to think about something that in any other halo game I wouldn’t need to think about, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Design looks nice armor and map wise, but at a very low quality in graphics. No polish as compared to past titles example being halo 5
Armor customization is great, a little bit of 343 halo games and reach, I really appreciate it.
hope the game can be improved though I do understand this is a beta test
