Disclaimer: This is my point in regards to the halo games, also this a Hypotetical scenery so please try to use your imagination, and I might as well update this forum in fairly regular bases, so please keep that in mind.
As someone who’s been playing Halo (and gaming) since pretty much when he can remember, This are some of my ideas to make a better game and to improve the experience in a way Ithink most of the people would like (please keep in mind that this is my opinion and not for that is automaticlly correct)
- Campaign - Multiplayer - Firefight - Forge - Spartan OpsCampaign
Since, I don’t know which is the process to create the awesome stories that the Halo Universe offers, I am not going to go into the details of what a good story needs, God knows 75% of the Halo Community is already takiing care of that one, but one thing I would like to see is more species, I know that would be difficult for the system to handle n’ stuff, but in an imaginary landscape everything’s possible, but I would like to see new stuff, for example a time back I heard someone suggesting things like an alien vampyre-like species, or that a rogue San Shyuum’ which made his own criminal empire and personally I think those would be cool to fight and a great addition to the Halo lore, and if I had to add another one to the list, I would like to fight some insurrectionist, but those are some ideas and nothing more.
Multiplayer
This would include the usuall:

BTB, Arena, Multi-Team, Juggernaut, Infection, yada yada yada… - Theater (although for a perfect game it should also work on Custom games & Campaign) - Custom Game - I would like to point out that the custom game browser should be included, commendations like with the Timmy whale helmet. - among others.One thing I do want to address is that old vehicles should return, such as the Hornet, the Falcon, H2A Gungoose, Spectre, Revenant, Prowler, Chopper, and maybe the Marauder from Halo Wars 2.
Firefight
It would be cool to see a mix of all the firefight modes seen up to the date as well as implementing a fortification system just to see if could work with the Halo sandbox, allow me to explain, I like the idea of keeping the 8 player game mode (and also having the game mode avaible in the custom menu for firefight and being able to customize it as we please much like we could in Reach), I think that for this game mode Loadouts werea nice feature for this game mode, also it’d be interesting to see more different bosses (I really don’t like fighting against ultra-buffed promethean knights, ghost, banshees or wraiths, althought they are great as companions for the bosses) however it’d be cool to see some different types of bosses such as Scarabs or even better a Harvester, Phantoms/Liches a certain enemy from ¨Halo Envoy¨ that I will not name, Warden Eternal is a boss that does feel different and I think he should stay, same case for the Grunt Goblin, I should note too that it would be great to see a return of the Brutes, Drones, Engineers, and even Skirmishers as well as more covie vehicles (everything is a simulation so they can go wild with what they present) also another cool thing to see would be: -
Flood/Sentinel FirefightWith the upcoming release of ¨Awakening the Nightmare¨ us Halo fans are getting something that always have desired, and that is Flood Firefight, and I think the main FPS games could use this as its being a game mode asked since the invention of the Firefight mode, and it could use the classic combat forms as well as the pure forms from Halo 3, and even the Flood Abomination (formerly known as Juggernaut) included as a boss itself, and maybe having sentinels as a counterpart since they could work in a similar way although the ability to constantly fly gives them a constant advantage, they could include from the classic Agressor Sentinels, and Enforcers, or even a Retriver Sentinel or a Protector Sentinel.
another features would be that the round MVP would have a redutction on the respawn time, i.e. a round has a 25 sec respawn time, but since they were the MVP in the last round that person has to wait only 15 sec, and having the spree/multikill medals (I find it weird that they’re not avaible in Halo 5’s)maybe a fortification system but that’s a side story.
Spartan Ops
Similar with the campaign, I really don’t have that much to speak in regards to the story however I would like to see Spartan Miller, Dalton, Palmer and Roland return even tho they’re not physically present with us, they make great companions in my opinion, however I do want to adress a few gameplay matters, since in the past some missions where intended for stealth sections, or more presicion based raids, I would like that the player can take different attachments and sights (which would work indepentdently from one another instead of having 75+ BRs) so they fit better to the player’s fighting style, similarly to Firefight, the player would have access to his customized loadout.
Forge
Next is going to be a sucbject that many have desired ever since the release of forge and firefight, and that is ¨Forging Firefight¨ it would be interesting to have the capacity to create their own maps as well as playing firefight in them, I understand that it’s hard to use/create/script AIs in video games, but in an ideal plane everything’s possible, with that in mind it would be cool to bring back old maps (and the nostalgia attached to it) back into the franchise, also recoloring vehicles, this was a function only seen in Halo Reach and has not returned ever since, but it was a nice feature to have, another piece that would make an interesting one would be a ¨security camera¨ as the name implies it’s a piece that would be able to see and show in real time what is happening in the map, maybe pair it with the chroma pieces so they can display what the camera is currently watching, as well as being able to set it’s FOV.
Finally I want to attent a few things Loadouts would only be avaible in the custom games, firefight, spartan ops and firefight, maybe for warzone, but only allowing 2 armor mods, and needing to unlock them in the match like the normal armor mods & weapons, it would be cool if we could choose the color and shapings for the internal HUD, and maybe being able to toggle on/off weather we want to see skins, side helmet (like in campaign) and armor effects (like the ones from Reach) choosing the voice of the spartan, finally, spartan abilities, clamber and sprint should stay (I fail to see how the really affect the game in a major way, and noone explains to me properly how they do so, thus I think they should stay), I do think Spartan Charge should be rebalanced, and for such I recommend you a video ¨Aozolai¨ just uploaded adressing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q0fhpomitI , stabilize, ground pound, and trust are not that much in my opinion so they should stay as well, it would be really nice to being able to trade weapons between players without the need of a third gun, similar to Gears of War, I do wish that the light in the gun did illuminate the path in front of you for darker locations I know it’s not that important, but since we can’t turn it on/off at least being able to have a better flashlight is better, and finallyI would like to thank you for taking your time to read this humble article of mine, so please if you have any other ideas that’d make a better game for you, please let me know
