My Ideal Halo 6

Now, this forum is my opinion of what is good and what needs to be changed or added in H6.
This will be a list of points of what they should add, remove or change up a bit, remember this is my opinion so if you disagree feel free to let me know why and if you have any other ideas let me know :slight_smile:

- REQ System Changes / Improvements; now, I really like how 343 did the REQ system in halo 5, it was balanced in warzone and not pay to win as you had to not only earn good weapons in req packs but also get to the req level to use it, so in my opinion it was balanced. What I think should be changed is customization, spartan items should be earned not bought (either through req points or real money). Maybe commendations gave you packs with customization items in or just challenges in general.

- Warzone Map Improvements; I think warzone maps should be changed up a bit with the inclusion of map specific weapons and vehicles (e.g: a special covenant themed weapon on a covenant map or a aerial transport vehicle on an urban map). Also I think warzone maps should have challenges, and once you complete all of the challenges on one map you unlock the map specific special weapon and vehicle commendation (commendation not available in any other req packs). Also I think there should be dynamic maps, maps that change over the course of the game, this could be through the inclusion of moving bases (a base on a track that moves around the map? Idk), bit anything that will spice up a game of warzone and change up play styles so you wont have that one sniper constantly waiting for you to leave your base to get sniped (I’m one of them xD)

- Game Modes; not much to say, past game modes included and also a classic game mode (moshpit of past game modes with classic movement and classic maps)

- Forge Changes; big map, like the forge world on Halo Reach but with different environments(?) and also a casual forge mode (like the one in Halo 4) and also the Halo 5 forge mode, just so less experienced forgers can build maps without the complicated forge tools.

- More Vehicles; new forerunner vehicles, more covenant vehicles etc…

- Movement Changes; remove slide, sprint is ok (in my opinion) how it is, boost could be toned down a bit or made into a armor mod and same with ground pound(?)

So there you have it, my ideas of what I would like to happen in H6, I have a few more points but I thought I was rambling on for a bit. If you have any other ideas / thoughts / arguments for my ideas then feel free to post them on this forum. Remember this is an opinion forum so don’t get mad at anyone if they disagree with you or if you don’t like their points.

I let them surprise me with Halo 6 I hope they keep adding new things

I only want these things :

  • A good story - A complete game at launch - Scrap the Spartan abilities and stick to the classic gameplay (IMO) - Playable elites - Splitscreen - Full armour customisation - No microtransactions

My Ideal Halo 6:

  • Story focus on Master Chief and Blue Team, might as well make it a good story too. - Reach level of Customization (One specific thing I would like is ā€œArmor Skinsā€ a separate category of customization that allows you to apply an Armor Skin to whatever armor you have on, basically getting rid of all of the Halo 5 type variants). - More Promethean vehicles, specifically a War Sphinx, and possibly some sort of Promethean tank. - Overall I’m pretty pleased with Arena. That being said: More maps (no remixes this time around), classic forge remakes, a social Team Objective playlist with classic gametypes like Oddball, KOTH, Ricochet, Team Regicide, Headhunter, etc., and BTB Heavies. - Split Screen - I’m kind of on the fence about Warzone, I could take it or leave it.I think that’s it for now at least.

I want some sort of focus/option for warzone, where I can choose (and change it at any time) a specific ā€˜build’ or what have you, so that If I’m a player that enjoys sniping, I’ll have higher chances of sniper weapons in the packs I open. Maybe limit this to weapons, but I’d love to see something like this to make the experience a little more worthwhile.

Armour mods, not abilities, you know like the ones in warzone that give you a certain perk. But I agree I didnt like armour abilities in reach or 4

A lot of good points here and I agree with all of them except I think smart link should stay but changed so there are no accuracy buffs.

'Except I don’t really like Warzone…

Even if it is like Halo 5 with splits screen I am happy.
