My Ideal compromise for coatings

So with the coatings system robbing so much personality from our mp spartans I want to outline my intial expectations and how i think it is a decent compromise for the community and 343i.

I thought coatings would be textures, camo patterns and animated inlays not just colours.

So heres the pitch.

Bring back primary and secondary as they work in mcc.

To allow for a continued revenue stream make coatings the patern or placement of colours and the third colour. Like halo3s little arm band colours.
Also make them in a way that changes the undersuit for those who want it its then there as a unlock or purchase.

But also allow us to acquire texture changes via the coatings.
Example. H2A metalic, H4 matted metal, H3 rubbery, H5G plastic.
2 tone coatings or pearlescant and other things we see in racing games xould fit here also.
It wiuld immediatly boost the mps visual veriaty and give players more character imo.

Or animated coatings like electric, neon, strobe etc. These can be partial, entire suit, or under suit so they can even still sell us the same thing multille times it just makes a greater visual impact.

Yes some will hate those more out there looks but yano what people should able make a style they like not be forcdd to adhere to another persons style. Personally dont like any of the effects we have atm but i dont want to take the option from others so whatever look you want go for it!

Finally have bronze silver gold and onyx unlocks for the cores with those colours being only available as reward coatings.

As a bonus revenue stream 343i can add light options for shield emitters a la Halo Online eventually as well as animated visors.

I think this is fair.
It gives plenty of reason to have coatings but also achieves player expression.
Ive had the same coloir scheme since h3 and its jist so wrong that i cant continue to use it because there isnt a coating that allows for it.
This way 343i can still milk sea mamals but players can have a style thats there own.

I thind the red arm coating from all the marketing stuff and season one is a good example of how much the placement of colour effects a spartan’s look.
Just run with that but give players a colour pool to work with.
They can even add new colours via BPs if the initial pool at least matches reach’s

Well? Fair? Stupid? What ye guys think.
It could be a dumb idea im after a triple shift with little sleep so not at my mental best rn.
