I’m of the opinion that Team Objective needs to come back. I miss Oddball, I miss KotH, but I also know there are factors to consider like the population and how popular CTF/Ricochet are. So my idea is this:
Create a Team Objective playlist that permanently has Oddball and KotH. Then have CTF and Ricochet rotate on a weekly or biweekly basis between their inclusion in TO and as a standalone playlist.
So for example if next week 343i updated matchmaking to have Team Objective (Oddball, KotH, and CTF) and Ricochet. Then two weeks later it would change to Team Objective (Oddball, KotH, and Ricochet) and CTF.
This setup would allow Team Objective with Oddball and KotH to come back and thrive while supporting the popularity of CTF and Ricochet.
So what do you guys think? Is this something that’s viable and acceptable?
