She can’t see, she has pretty good vision. I have good vision too and I’m having trouble too. What’s the deal with the black bars on the sides of my 65” 4K TV? It turned my 65” into a 30 inch. Ow, my eyes.

It’s to maintain the aspect ratio. I can’t remember which game they started this with, but I think it was 4.
So there’s no option for if I don’t want to maintain aspect ratio? I mean like I can’t see the scoreboard, grenades, score bottom mid when i’m playing ctf. Makes it virtually impossible. I think h2a had black bars but man i don’t think they were as thick and I could see some of the stuff that I needed to better.
Correct, it would be a feature dictated by the developer. Is it that the visuals are missing or they are just very difficult to see? I apologize if I sounded a little unsympathetic given that back in the original xbox Halo days we were all playing on 7 by 5 quadrants of a CRT television lol.

Well, even with field of view zoomed in all of the way, it’s really hard to see far distances in game without eye strain. But my biggest annoyance is not being able to have a zoom setting for grenades, equipment, ammo, score, etc. And clicking the start button makes me have to get up and get really close to the screen. I don’t think each player should have their own start button.
It just doesn’t feel like the splitscreen experience we know and love, which unfortunately means we might have to stick with the old MCC if there are no remedies because she is unwilling to play with these issues.
You can increase text size. Helps part of the hud but not all it seems. Hope they give us options to turn off the stupid bars.

Would text size only increase the start button stuff though? Like that won’t increase size of flag caps or CTF score?
Yeah i don’t care about aspect ratio, I care about having a beautiful big screen with a beautiful wife, squint free.
