This is some things i wish will be feautured in the upcoming Halo game.
Party matching:
Currently in the MCC (Not sure about Halo 5) There is no party matching in place, that means a party of 3 searching a game in for example Team Arena can get a random on their team and match 4 other solo players. This is a BIG deal in especially ranked playlists because Halo is a very team oriented game having good communication skills with your teammates can really help you win a match, and therefore the team searching as a team of 3 will ALWAYS be in a huge advantage.
It is therefore crutial in my opinion that we have a party matching system implemented in Halo Infinite from the start.
Server allocation
Again, currently in the MCC the server allocation is really bad. Currently whatever server you are playing on in the MCC you will be routed to a datacenter in Washington before your connection goes to the dedicated server. This creates higher ping for players and makes it really laggy for EU players.
Even if you are playing on the NA East 2 from Europe your connection will first go to the datecenter in washington before routing you to the NA East 2 server, making a really high and unecessary ping.

Trueskill (1-50 Ranking system)
The Halo 2 and Halo 3 ranking system is universally loved. And the way Halo 3 built on it from Halo 2 was imo the best and most satisfying ranking system in a video game ever.
The 1-50 Ranking system combined with the military ranked system in Halo 3 is a really fun and good system.
There was nothing more satisfying than getting a 50 in Halo 3, and the way EXP worked in the game was amazing.
It really gave both the competetive and casual player something to grind for and be proud of.
The current system in Halo 5 feels very unrewarding, its literally just a number next to your name which means nothing because you get EXP regardless if you win or lose and i feel like there is nothing to be proud of.
If we’re not getting the 1-50 system but instead the current system we have in Halo 5 i really hope we get rid of the placement matches and rather let everyone start at the lowest rank and then climp the ladder up from there instead of being placed directly into Gold, Plat, Diamond etc.
