Hey Guys, I was lucky enough to get a copy of Halo 4 early and I’ve had the last 48 hours or so to give it a shot. Please note that all of this is just my opinion on the game so far, if it needs to be locked by a mod then please do. 
Also please note that since the game hasn’t officially been released please don’t PM me with questions about stuff in the game, it’s technically leaking information which I will not do. Anyway, on to the actual opinion.
CAMPAIGN
As soon as I got the game I knew I had to install it since I hate the annoying noise the game makes in my Xbox so I did that first, the first disk took around 15 minutes and the second a matter of 5 minutes. So as far as I can see, you really didn’t have to wait very long to get your Halo on…which is good. 
Obviously I started with the campaign first and it was fantastic to see the return of my favorite Halo characters. The graphics and lighting are amazing. 343 and the art team have really done a fantastic job with the Xbox’s 7 year tech. It really looks like a next generation game.
Most of the campaign is going to specific areas to find things or press buttons but in all honesty, 343’s done it in such a way that you barely notice until the mission is over and even then you’re in awe at the cutscenes that are so realistic to the motion capturing by the actors. Speaking of Actors, there’s a scene that I won’t spoil with two certain characters in the Infinity that argue and the acting is just golden. It’s very powerful and made me shiver a little.
But enough about campaign, let’s talk about some multiplayer.
MULTIPLAYER
I’ve (so far) had the chance to play Flood, Infinity Slayer and Big Team Infinity Slayer and it’s a blast on all three.
I want to be fair and say there’s some faults but as of right now, I haven’t found any. Some may say about the ranking system but I’m personally not bothered by that.
The unlock system is great and the matchmaking is great.
Flood in particular is my favorite so far, and for those worrying that the Flood gametype is different from Infection, yes the Flood have shields but against a shotgun…nope. They dead bro’s.
Infinity Slayer and BT-Inf Sla are just as fun as I remember Halo 3 was. The DMR and BR feel so right and every other weapon I tried (Beam Rifle, Scattershot etc) felt like they belonged. No weapon went unused by anyone in the game. So I thought that was great, real weapon choice and balance in the games.
SPARTAN OPS
Spartan Ops is fun as well, since I’m kinda running out of time all I can say is, it’s as fun as the campaign. It’s better than Firefight and it deserves your attention as soon as possible, even if you aren’t a fan of the story based stuff. It’s too good to miss out on.
LE FORGE
I’m not a great Forger so I’ve barely tried that yet, I’ll be playing a couple of matches later with my brother so if this thread isn’t locked I might update it a little.
Overall, so far I love this game and I know I’ll be playing it for years to come just like Halo 2 and Halo 3. 343, in my eyes you’ve done a damn good job. Congratulations and welcome to the family.
