My Halo Wishlist

First off, I’d just like to say that I’m quite enjoying halo 5! However, there are a few things that I would still like to see in the game. Naturally, some of these changes are a bit too big to hope for in halo 5, but these would all still be applicable for future halos. With that in mind… here we go!

Gameplay Related (no particular order):
(1) Radar: I would like the range of the radar to be extended. In halo 5 at the moment, the radar distance is ridiculously short. Combine that with the fast movement speeds, and it is almost useless.
(2) Time to Kill: Again, this is an opinion, but the TTK seems a bit low in halo 5. This isn’t something I would expect to see changed in halo 5, but something to keep in mind for halo 6.

Overall, loving the gameplay in halo 5

Non Gameplay Related (no particular order):
(1) Splitscreen: I consider this to be the most important point of this list. Of course, this isn’t something I expect to be added to halo 5, but to me, this has been an integral part of halo and I hope to see it back in 6!
(2) Custom Games Browser: In past halos, I’ve never been much for custom games, but that’s mostly a result of them being rather inaccessible. I know I’m not alone on this one.
(3) Campaign Scoring & Medals/Leaderboards: Not the biggest deal for a lot of people, but I enjoyed the scoring in previous halos. It gave the campaigns more replay value.
(4) More Multiplayer Playlists (Social, Big Team, and ACTION SACK): I realize this is already in the works, but hey, might as well show my interest. In particular, halo 5 is seriously lacking in the ‘wacky’ game types, like grifball, ricochet, husky raid, etc.
(5) AI placement in forge: This would add a lot of potential to the forge mode (which looks great by the way). Again, this would be a huge task (from what I’ve heard), so something to keep in mind for future halos.
(6) Tighter focus in campaign (and/or a longer campaign): I liked the overarching story in the halo 5 campaign (won’t go into details for spoiler reasons), but it was rather superficial. This campaign suffered from the same problem Age of Ultron had – with so many characters in a limited timeframe, there was very little development for each individual.

I’ll add stuff as I think of it. Thoughts? This is a forums after all.
