About two or three weeks ago my Halo Reach stopped working. My armor is set to the default armor and it says I’m recruit. But when I press start and go to the armory my armor is my custom armor and my rank is back to normal (commander grade 1). I cant go on matchmaking either.
Wrong forum mate. I’d get rid of that hotmail address too - It wouldn’t be hard to find a way into your account if you use it for other services.
On topic. That sounds like a problem with your connection. Happens to me sometimes. Just reset your router/modem and try again. If that doesn’t work, call up your ISP (Internet service provider).
That has happened to me before too. But only for a couple minutes, not as extended a period of time as a week. I dunno, either try resetting your internet connection or PMing BS Angel for advice. She’s usually good about getting back to people with problems on the forums or on the games.
Haha sorry about the wrong forum I’m new to this and I got a bit sick of playing black ops (not one of my favorite games). I think its just an internet connection problem (I recently moved the xbox to a new area in the house). Thanks for the help. If I run into any problems again what forum should I go to?

That wouldn’t (at least, I don’t think it would) reset your armor though. And a message usually pops up if that happens.
I’ve noticed that happening more over the past few days to a lot more people. Sometimes when I first load the game up, it takes a moment for my rank, armor, and color to show. But my nameplate pops up right away. I haven’t been unable to join matchmaking though!
its been about 2 months and my reach still doesn’t work… to add to the problem my halo 3 doesn’t work either. I’ve tried everything from resetting the router to reformatting the xbox itself. I’ve called microsoft support numerous times on the issue, nothing has helped. I’m not sure if newer halo games like halo anniversary or halo 4 will work. if you have a solution or suggestion please tell.
It happens all the time. Don’t worry about it. You have not been banned or reset. Just keep playing the game.
