I realize the game is in beta, and I’m loving Halo but I would like to ask for a few things.
Capability to mute individual players in a match. I just played a game where a guy was listening to his music (and it wasn’t good) through the entirety of the match. It was pretty annoying, but I’ll live for now.
Controller option lock ins. I want to select and lock in either KB/M or controller. I play on PC but I play Halo on controller. I would like to ensure that aim assist is available at all times while gaming with my controller.
Better microphone settings. I tried to change me mic activation threshold through Windows, it didn’t work for the game. My mic is too sensitive and picking up audio from my headset and causing an echo in game. I have a footswitch on the way to set up push to talk, but I want to keep those moments of activating my mic as least annoying to my teammates as possible.
Challenges:
Can you add a challenge or 12 to utilize the ping function in Infinite? It’s super handy but not many people use it.
As a PC player I’m concerned about cheating and hacking in Halo. Warzone was ruined for me due to hackers exploiting the game. I truly hope that 343 has an anticheat and a gameplan to address these potential issues. I would like to say that I haven’t ran into anyone I suspect of cheating, but it’s never to early to address these concerns.
So far though, I am loving the playability and feel of Halo Infinite. I haven’t truly played Halo multiplayer since Halo 2 and the game feels just so good right now. As far as monetization and progression I defer to the rest of the community for that.
