My Halo 7 REQ & WZ System (H6 WZ is probably done)

So I had this idea of how H6s’ weapons could work. If we even get WZ. I would like it. But REQs are annoying. So here’s my system (other people had the same concepts)

So essentially you have Supply Drops. That’s been an idea by the community for a while here on the ol’ forums. You have team-based ones, and neutral ones. Team based ones give weaker weapons. But there isn’t competition. Neutral ones will give better things, but at a risk of being sniped away. The REQs get better as time progresses. Eventually, you will get decent weapons from Team-Pelicans, but not as fast as neutral ones get better.

But you can also have Personal Drops. That you send in when they’re ready. They give weaker weapons than Team Pelicans. But only you can pick them up.
To be noted about Team Drops alike is that once you die with the REQ, they’re fair game to the enemy.

Personal Drops only give weapons in pods like ODSTs. Team and Neutral Drops can give vehicles and other stuff. Again, fair game if killed wielding REQs.

Now you can also boost your REQ drops in Personal Drops with Boosts. But it’s a gamble.

This next idea comes from Titanfall, but doesn’t copy it.

After you finish a match in Titanfall, the losers have to retreat. But instead, in H6, the winners have to retreat. If their retreat is halted, then the losers take the L still, but get some “at least you tried” award.

The next thing that needs change is the armor unlock system.

People want a campaign unlock system. Like the good ol’ days.
So my system has points. Points are unlocked by achievements and other accomplishments in the campaign. These achievements are unlocked by who you play as. But I liked Reachs’ customization system. Therefore, you unlock certain pieces of armor and attachments that give reference to the reason you unlocked the armor.

If you do this as Buck, you’ll get ODST Weapon Skins
If you do that as Locke, you’ll get ONI Weapon Skins
If you do something as Vale, You get the Copperhead helmet
If you do something else as Tanaka, You’ll get the Technician helmet

Now, points also go for armor and helmets and whatnot in MP. You can get them with getting, say, 1000 Ground Pounds. You’ll unlock the points for this armor.

Here’s the point system for MP (all armor pieces are unlockable via MP)

C - 1pt
UC - 5pt
R - 10pt
UR - 20pt
L - 30pt
M - 50pt

Campaign is easier, because you’ll get all the needed points.
But harder, due to difficulty.
You only get all the points in Legendary. Otherwise, it’s this system.

1/4 of the needed Points = Easy
1/2 of the needed Points = Normal
3/4 of the needed Points = Heroic
All of the needed Points = Legendary

I’d be on Normal or Heroic with such a system.

That’s all my ideas.

Fairly certain we’re not getting a Halo 7…

I must admit, Halo 5’s REQ system had some benefits. Like, for example, being able to use any desired weapon/vehicle. I want them to find a way to somehow keep that aspect of it, because in past Halos there was always the two or three weapons that NEVER got placed onto maps, and therefore, never get to be used.

Actually 343i says they’re thinking Halo will be around for decades.

Hopefully they’ll learn after 30 years…

Damn it, I did forget to mention you can increase odds of getting something.

I was gonna say that.

You increase the chance of getting a Rocket Launcher and you’ll get a rocket launcher.
