My Halo 5 Dream Update...

Even after all of the updates, Halo 5 still comes up short compared to previous Halo games. Warzone Firefight was a massive disappointment for me, and I’ve been playing less and less ever since. This is pretty much what it would take for me to get back into Halo 5.

New Armor would include 100% faithful recreations of all the Master Chief’s armors, complete with unique bodysuits, including much more accurate versions of Mark IV armor from Halo Wars, the Mark V Armor from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Chief’s Mark VI armor from Halo 2: Anniversary.

-Mark IV Anniversary
-Mark V Anniversary
-Mark VI Anniversary

In addition to classic armor, there would be an armory’s worth of classic weapons. I really liked the look and sound of the weapons in Halo: Reach and Halo: Anniversary. These would be similar to the Halo 2 Battle Rifle in that they would have identical stats to their vanilla counterparts, but with more bullet magnetism- and the in the case of Magnum, DMR, and Silenced Halo 2 SMG- outfitted with Classic Scopes.

*Indicates Loadout Weapons.

-Halo: Reach Assault Rifle*
-Halo: Reach DMR*
-Halo: Reach Magnum*
-Halo: Reach Shotgun
-Halo: Reach Sniper Rifle
-Halo: Reach Grenade Launcher
-Halo 2 SMG*
-Halo 2 Silenced SMG*

Finally, classic vehicles. These would be as strong as the ONI & Temple variants already existing in Warzone, and include brand-new vehicles in the form of the Revenant, Chopper, and Falcon:

-Halo: Reach Warthog
-Halo: Reach Scorpion
-Halo: Reach Falcon
-Halo: Reach Ghost
-Halo: Reach Revenant
-Halo: Reach Wraith
-Halo: Reach Banshee
-Halo 3 Chopper

Warzone and Warzone Firefight would be upgraded to be made playable in Custom Games. Set the AI difficulty, Enemy Traits, Boss Traits, Starting REQ Level, in addition to all the normal options that come with custom games. In Custom Warzone, you would have unlimited use of every REQ item in the game, as well as the option to play Warzone Firefight in single-player, change the difficulty, and activate Skulls, and even customize your own AI squadmates that you could command just like in the Campaign.

It probably never happen. Hell, I have so little faith in 343i at this point that I won’t be getting hyped up for Halo 6 or anything that isn’t Halo 3: Anniversary or a Definitive Edition of Halo: Reach. But I can dream…

All I see is a bunch of new REQS lol. I don’t need more -Yoink- to scroll through or sell 1 by 1.

I miss the halo reach nade launcher.

Halo 3 update
-several remakes of Halo 3 maps (Valhalla, High Ground, Guardian and Sandtrap)
-several weapons/vehicles (spikers, MA5C AR (32 rounds, better accuracy and damage but slower firerate) spike grenade, brute chopper, hornet or hornet-like wasp)
-possible addition of a brute chieftain boss
-oddball and KotH

You mainly want reach loadouts and vehicles. No point adding them. There’s not gonna be much of a difference.

Forgeable Elephants. Please dear God Forgeable Elephants/Mammoths. Having mobile bases was such an interesting dynamic in Halo 3 even if it was only on one map, but I would like to see it on more. Hell, could you imagine a stronghold match with two elephants as bases? That would be so much fun!

I don’t know if you know this, but the Grenade Launcher was found in Halo 5: Guardians’ files.

I didn’t hear that. You’re sure you’re not getting it confused with the unfinished Plasma Launcher in WZFF that everyone knows about?

Split screen, nothing more.

A mythic recon-Halo reach( pre-order special recon in reach if you didnt know)
Haunted Helmet(Inheritor helmet from reach)
And Of course HAYABUSA(dont hate)

Couldn’t agree more

Yay adding REQs that serve no purpose, have barely any difference from the current variants, sounds like a great idea!

Look it up on Gamecheat13’s channel, it’s the real thing with its own Smart Scope and everything.

I like the idea Arbiters Creed put forward about bringing back the Hayabusa helmet. I always liked the look of it.

Perhaps it could be updated, have an armour set to match, this time with two swords on the back of the player purely for the look as it was with the original.

Not sure why everyone keeps harping on about a Halo 3 Anniversary edition, I’d rather not see one … you cant improve on perfection so why try.

Indeed.

You know I can image the SCARAB from HALO3 being a BOSS in WARZONE like why not obviously it will need a bigger map but you know why not.It will be so much fun Blue team and Red team fighting at top of it imagine that. WE NEED THE SCARAB BACK.Now that’s a dream update for warzone.

Looks like you miss Reach

I would just hop on Reach if I were you. Don’t keep hoping H5 will become something it’ll never be. You’ll be happier in the end I think

Maybe don’t discuss modded content. That’s a good way to get a thread locked.

Aside from that, I wouldn’t mind some of this stuff (Reach Grenade Launcher mainly), but any new addition would need to do more than just fill up your req collection, like the camoflauged Warthog, Scorpion, and Mongoose variants do.

My dream updates.

1. Oddball and classic KOTH (reasonable request): I realize that King of the Hill is basically one stronghold, but that’s that point. It was awesome how insane it’d get having every single player attacking one stationary (or moving) hill and trying to hold it against the other team. Pure mayhem. Oddball was also mayhem, and perhaps my favorite game type in past Halo games (especially 3), right up there with CTF.

2. Split-Screen and Offline Play (probably wishful thinking): When Halo 5 ceases to be popular and starts to lose its player population, why not make it available to play the MP, Forge offline (can’t be difficult to pull off) so that the community can continue to enjoy the game for years to come. In addition to that, make split-screen a thing again… if the true goal was selling more copies of Halo 5 and Xbox Ones by making it single player and not getting better graphics (I don’t think many of us believe that to be a good trade-off for the gamer), then when the population goes away, why not make split-screen an option so, again, your game can be enjoyed for years to come with couch co-op?

We will see, but these are the hopes!
