A number of fans were unsatisfied with the Halo 5 campaign. I also did nt like it. First of all, it was not portrayed as it should have been.
According to some of the trailers, I will type a little Halo 5 version of my own. Feedback is well appreciated, but please no name calling as it does not make a valid argument. Some fans may disagree, but I’m gonna say that it’s fully my opinion on how the story should have gone.
The first mission is ok how it is. One thing is that Jul Madama gets away. A phantom arrives and a jackal sharpshooter shoots the knife out of Locke’s hand and Jul Madama grabs Locke and throws him to the floor. Then Jul Madama runs to the phantom to safety. The phantom then makes a fly for the Kraken. Halsey, however, is still secured and brought back to Infinity. Then there comes the Blue Team mission. The intro I leave Blue Team breaking the glass and what not, but they don’t exactly run into covenant. " So what’s the mission Chief?" Asked Fred.
“We’ve been assigned to search this space station and find out why comms went silent.” Chief said. “Blue team fall out!”
Once they were in the ship, The team searched all terminals. “Corrupted files, expired databases, nothing I can find about comms.” Said Kelly.
“Maybe if we reach the bridge we can see more information there.” Replied Linda.
“First we check to see if there are any survivors.” Said Fred, “Maybe they could tell us something.”
“To the cryo bay then,” Said Chief. Once at the cryo bay, the team puzzled by piles of tan colored flesh. Round bubbles that looked like eggs. The cryo pods were no better. The glass doors were all broken. Blood stained everywhere. “This doesn’t look too good” Said Fred. The camera then turns into Fred’s view. A startling jumpscare appears as a creature lunges and tackles Fred. The team engages the creature and kills it. “Ugh. What the hell is that?” Fred said.
“Oh no. Not again” Chief said.
“What is it Chief?” Said Linda.
“The flood. It’s here again. We need to get to the bridge and find out what exactly happened.”
“We’ve delt with them before. We can get through it once more” Kelly said.
Once they got to the bridge, luckily being sneaky and never seen, the team saw the terrible thing that killed captain Keys. A proto grave mind!
“This is not good” Fred said.
“No blrag Fred. Our best bet is to assume that the stations crew were attacked by a flood outbreak.” Said Linda.
“Never mind assuming” Said Kelly, " I found the comm records right here.
“Then our mission is complete.” Fred said.
“Not yet.” Said Chief as he pushed a button on a monitor, “Cheif to Infinity do you read?”
“Loud and clear Chief” Said an Infinity crew member.
" Get me Lasky; something bad has happened"
“What is it Cheif?”
“The flood is back and as far as we’re concerned, we have to blow this station.”
“Copy that Chief. Sending a havoc nuke. You will need to prime the nuke in the reactor cores in the hangers.”
“Not a problem” Chief said.
A fireteam called Noobies then arrived at the station to drop off the nuke. Chief and his team acquired the nuke, but as soon as fireteam Noobie’s pelican began to rise, a flood tentacle thrusted up and downward smashing the pelican into pieces. Luckily fireteam Noobies were still alive. Or it seemed like they were.
One team member rushed out of the pelican, hands covering his visor, screamed in agony. Chief quickly took the Noob member’s helmet off and saw what used to be his face. The Noob member then growled and thrashed his arms around. He then lunged towards Cheif, but before he got to him, Kelly shot the Noob member with her shotgun. “Its happening again” Fred said as him and the team engaged the infected fireteam members “If we let this flood escape this station, the rest of the universe is bound to be infected!”
“Don’t worry” Linda said, “We still got this bomb”
“First we take care of this gravemind” Cheif replied, “I know the first one I saw was bad enough.”
The team put several grenades in the promo gravemind along with a charge.
“Hope this doesn’t wake up the rest of them” Fred said.
Chief then pushed the button on the detonator and the gravemind exploded. Bits and pieces of flesh covered the team.
“Guess we should have taken cover” Fred said.
“Ugh, right before the big dance” Linda said.
After fighting through hordes of flood, the team finally reached the reactor cores. Chief ordered Fred to access the override on the main console.
Chief then proceeded to plant the havoc nuke in the main chambers of the cores.
“We have five hours to leave this station” Chief said. “Let’s go Blue team”
Just before Blue team left the room, they opened the doors only to see crowds of stalker flood forms turning into tank forms!
“Run!” Yelled Fred. They ran the other direction. Grenades left behind by Linda hoping that it would slow them down. It didn’t. They ran and ran until they reached a hanger bay. “over there!” Said Linda. There was a long sword docked. The team ran into the longsword to escape. “We can use this to get to our ride” Fred said. But when they reached their pelican, it was infested by flood! “Blast it” Chief said. And there goes their pelican. The havoc nuke then exploded. Covering the station in fire. Chief and blue team then returns to Infinity and yes Chief did not get a vision from Cortana ok? I think its kinda stupid to have a vision all of the sudden.
