My 1st impressions of this game were absolutely excellent but the more i delved into this game the more it’s flaws became apparent. I’m not going to get to deep into this nor am i going to post personal opinions. I’m just going to list what this game needs.
TU:
Dexterity: This games vanilla weapon balance is very good but i feel a lot of power weapons are balanced by their reload times. The Binary Rifle, Incineration Cannon and Rocket Launcher are just a few. I propose that dexterity should only affect loadout weapons.
Sniper Rifle Flinch: I don’t know about you but being forced to aim at the sky in the middle of a sniper duel is not much fun. The massive flinch made team snipers practically unplayable so it needs to be made into a custom game option. That or have the option to spawn everyone with the Rouges specialisation ability.
Weapon Despawn: In infinity slayer gametypes the fast weapon despawn is absolutely fine. However i feel static weapons should have a despawn timer that can be set so a classic game type is actually possible.
DMR: I’m not sure how to fix this weapon. Making it a 6SK or slowing down the firing speed would be the best option. The other option of course would be to give it post TU reach bloom.
Sprint: Quite simply the option to turn of sprint is needed.
Instant Respawn: I don’t know why you can’t turn this off in slayer game types but whatever. Make it happen.
Active Camo: When weapons are charging the camo should fade like it does when you fire any other weapon.
Custom Game Specialisations: Being able to use specialisation tactical packages in custom games is really needed. Especially rouge.
Forge: Just fix the forge glitches. I don’t feel the need to highlight them.
DLC:
I don’t care if we have artwork for the future DLC. There is absolutely no reason not to reuse maps that are tried, tested and proven to be both fun and balanced. At the very least give us midship and lockout. This game is SORELY lacking in good small maps for competitive play.
Other than that we need a blank forging space with flat terrain to work on. Pretty basic stuff really.
Playlists:
Is a FFA gametype in which the person with the most kills wins that much to ask for? Really?
I would also like to see objective game types merged into the BTB playlist. Again simple stuff.
Classic playlist. 4V4. Static weapons. No loadouts. No sprint. No instant respawn. Small maps. Seriously.
That just about sums up the things i would like too see most. Theres probably a few things i’ve missed but i think i got the majority of my complaints into this post.
