I bought Halo 4 thinking it would be a sound investment, considering I had loved the original 3, ODST, and Reach for the time I played that. Boy was I wrong. It’s to the point that I can’t even sit through an entire match of it anymore. Is the gameplay BAD? Not really. Is it boring? YES. Spartan Ops is a joke unless you spam it to get XP. The campaign’s pretty decent. From what I’ve seen/heard, Forge and Custom games are gimped. Matchmaking is filled with the SAME maps, SAME strategies, SAME specializations, SAME teams… The community’s dropped exponentially. I thought 343i would’ve done SOMETHING besides just add in new episodes of SOps and a new playlist within the 3 weeks it’s been out. I wasted $25 on the map pass thinking I would be keeping this game. Trading it in tomorrow to get $30 out of the $45 I paid for it.

No wonders games won’t get better when edgy people rage quit and sell their games, instead of providing feedback for 343i to work with.

What kind of rant is this? Spartan Ops can be considered a joke yes its not the same firefight as before but it progress the story with fresh content. And there’s some hidden things for the game ie glyphs and RvB content.
Complaint via seen/heard. it’s like saying you won’t go to a steak place because it the building looks like crap or someone got food poisoning once. It does not mean its terrible.
Furthermore, DLC and TU is right around the corner. Jesus the game has not been out for a month. Let’s look back at Reach. First DLC came TWO MONTHS after release. The title update also took nearly a month. So calm down. It took nearly a month for changes to hit…LIKE EVERY HALO Game.
Sorry I can’t reconvince you but your complaints are illogical.
