My Halo 4 Pre-Release Marathon Schedule

Alright, so there’s this thread that has a marathon schedule and it’s currently in progress. Great work on the OP’s part, however, I’m one of those people who would rather not limit himself to one campaign mission a day for the most part. I decided to wait, and I came up with a schedule of my own, and I figured I could share it with you all. The game order is the same as the “basic chronology version” of the original thread, and it excludes Halo Wars (sorry guys, I don’t own it). Because this marathon begins later (October 1st) it allows for us to play more campaign levels in a day, although it thins out here and there (especially around Halo 3 & ODST) to compensate for the length of certain levels as well as to keep us busy every day until Halo 4 releases. But I’m rambling, here it is.

10/1: Begin Halo: Reach.
Missions: Noble Actual, Winter Contingency, ONI: Sword Base.

10/2: Nightfall, Tip of The Spear.

10/3: Long Night of Solace, Exodus.

10/4: New Alexandria, The Package.

10/5: The Pillar of Autumn, Lone Wolf.

10/6: Begin Halo: CE(A).
Missions: The Pillar of Autumn, Halo.

10/7: The Truth and Reconciliation, The Silent Cartographer.

10/8: Assault on the Control Room.

10/9: 343 Guilty Spark, The Library.

10/10: Two Betrayals.

10/11: Keyes.

10/12: The Maw.

10/13: Begin Halo 2.
Missions: The Heretic, The Armory, Cairo Station.

10/14: Outskirts, Metropolis.

10/15: The Arbiter, The Oracle.

10/16: Delta Halo, Regret.

10/17: Sacred Icon, Quarantine Zone.

10/18: Gravemind.

10/19: Uprising.

10/20: High Charity.

10/21: The Great Journey.

10/22: Begin Halo 3: ODST.
Missions: Prepare to Drop, Mombasa Streets (if that counts), Tayari Plaza.

10/23: Uplift Reserve.

10/24: Kizingo Boulevard.

10/25: ONI Alpha Site.

10/26: NMPD HQ.

10/27: Kikowani Station.

10/28: Data Hive.

10/29: Coastal Highway.

10/30: Begin Halo 3.
Missions: Arrival, Sierra 117.

10/31: Crow’s Nest, Tsavo Highway.

11/1: The Storm, Floodgate.

11/2: The Ark.

11/3: The Covenant.

11/4: Cortana

So yeah, that’s what I’m doing. Feel free to join, and the dates/missions we pass won’t be deleted, just colored red. Current dates/missions will be <mark>highlighted</mark>.

Oh, and I forgot to add that if anyone is interested in playing online co-op (especially around Halo 3, because that game was moreso MEANT to be played in co-op) contact me when the time comes.

And so it has begun. Halo 4 is only a month away, so it’s time to keep ourselves occupied (if we haven’t already) Reach’s campaign has always been a little lackluster compared to other Halo titles, but I still get some enjoyment out of it. If anybody else is playing, what difficulty are you playing on? Any skulls? Etc.

Did you post them? I’m sorry if I missed it, I just went on my own calendar and broke up the missions

Yeah, they’re all in the OP. Don’t worry about it though, more schedules can’t hurt! It’s not about what we’ve done it’s about creating as many ways for people to pass the time until Halo 4 comes out.

Oh yeah I see it. But hey, thanks for starting this whole marathon thing (I know for a fact A LOT of people are grateful for it), and I’m glad to have been of some help.

Right behind ya man! Started Reach today and plan on having CEA started by Friday. So youll be fightn for the both of us.

I dont think im gonna run on a schedule this time. when cea came out me and a friend played all the others in 2 days. so i think ill just play a whole campaign in one day. but unlike last time ill do it on normal just to get through it. last time it was on legendary(except for halo 2 its the only one i have left to complete on legendary besides wars).

Cairo station is one of the hardest parts of the campaign on legendary. I remember giving up years ago, so I understand why you haven’t beat it yet lol.

So we’re now one month away from Halo 4, and today we start the game that started it all.

(I only posted the Anniversary trailer because honestly, I didn’t really like any of the original CE trailers).

I’ll assume you mean like at the end of October/the Beginning of November lol. Normally I would, do that, but nowadays I’m really busy with classes and my job, so a couple of levels a day is really efficient for me.

The plot thickens. Today I start my personal favorite Halo game. Aside from the pop-in textures and the irritating cliffhanger, this game had the best story in my opinion and had an insane amount of replay value compared to the first one (although the first one had a much better campaign delivery).

It also provided hours of pure fun when playing slayer on splitscreen in maps like waterworks and lockout and pretty much everything minus midship.

Any Halo 2 memories?
