It was said that the multi-player was going to be somewhat cannon. So I thought, spartans fighting spartans? That sounds like the UNSC fighting the Insurrection.

Hmmm…Interesting.

I think it might be a good guess, but can’t really tell for sure.

Maybe.
But they did mention the multiplayer spartan models would be Spartan IV’s. This leads me to believe the cannon in this is Spartan IV training, Spartans IV’s VS Spartan IV’s.

^ quite obvious (as I stated for my self too), who read Ghost of Onyx guess that, but can be another, who knows?

I read ghosts of onyx. It just seems like Insurrection would be a bit more interesting.
Spartans joining the Insurrection? That doesn’t make much sense. Training seems more plausible.
I think they are going to make RvB canon.
Its clearly the most obvious way to do it

Spartan tech was in the Insurrection so I just would have assumed…
Better question:
Why the hell does multiplayer need a story? What, is “Those people aren’t the same team as you, kick their -Yoink-” not good enough anymore?
but on the other hand…
Why do you throw Spartans,
( I mean everybody knows how many Sparten III survived the procedure)
for training against each other!?
Isnt this a loss of very valuable Spartan IV?
I mean, if I only have a dozen of Spartan’s why would I let them kill each other so I would end up with only a hand full?
