I keep getting a crash with error message 0x80000013 after I launch Halo 5: Forge on my pc. I know this is graphics related but I am running a GTX 960 4Gb which is dx12 compatible. I was able to download the game on the store despite it telling me that my card does not have the correct direct x feature level which is something I’ve never heard of but now I’m starting to think thats the problem. I ran dxdiag and confirmed that my card is both dx12 and has feature level 11_0 and 11_1. Nothing made any sense so I reinstalled my display drivers and after that didn’t work, my entire windows installation (I’m that desperate to play halo on pc again). The problem is persisting however and I have ran out of ideas. Has anyone else had these problems or anyone have any advice? Thanks
You need DX feature level 12. The GTX 900 series should support this.
Have you updated your Nvidia drivers recently?
Have you updated Windows 10 recently?
I can confirm both are fully up to date. I have noticed that the windows store doesn’t recognise that I have feature level 11 or higher for any of the games that require it…
Hey, Were you able to fix it? I have the same Issue with the gtx 960…
