Sometimes, I think this game is a little under appreciated. Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is a NICE piece work. The graphics got an extreme overhaul and the sound is amazing, yet still remains a classic.

This would be even more authentic if you filmed the original game for the old graphics. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary slightly modified the look of the original.
Honestly, the new graphics, although better, ruined some things. I’m sure most of you remember playing ‘343 guilty spark’ and the ‘library’ with the old graphics, it felt really dark and scary, it really amped up the experience. With the new graphics ‘343 guilty spark’ is so brightly lit, same goes for the library. I remember playing the ‘library’ with my friend on legendary, we played with the new graphics and I’d occasionally switch to the old graphics and it’d really make a lot harder and darker. And all they really did was detail things, they made it brighter, and made stuff like blood look a little more realistic. honestly it was the same game we had 10 years ago

That was the point.
Personally I thought the game’s graphics were amazing, I rarely ever switched back. That said I do agree that it did change a few places in the campaign. I though the video was nice also.
