please don’t bring a gametype that bloody broken (grifball), played 5 games kicked 3 times for making game winning kills, that my team mates happen to be apart of. Kids getting buthurt ruins this game…
I love how we see this every time GB comes up, yet nothing gets done. I am very careful where I swing & when, yet I get kicked because teammates run into my hammer? smh fix this.
Best is to run in a fire team so you don’t get booted.
Or you could try being more accurate with your swings.
Don’t go swinging your hammer all over the place and you’ll be fine.
What extremely smart person thought it was a good idea to have betrayal punishment in grifball? Seriously? Did anyone think this through?

It has nothing to do it with it It’s the nature of the game . Yes you want to try not to betray but your teammate can be behind you and die. There’s no way to avoid this and play the game aggressively.

It prevents people from Griball credit boosting, or req points as they are called now. Back in Reach, no one was punished for betraying. Thanks to Bungie’s stroke of genius, all people do in Reach Grifball is boost for credits by spawnkilling and betray anyone who trys to stop them, at which point they may spawn kill their own teammates.
The simplest fix, aside from taking out team killing all together, is to make it so it’s not an instant kill when a teammate gets caught in your swing. Maybe like 3 swings to kill a fully shielded teammate. So, at the very least, if you do get killed by a teammate, you know good and well he did it on purpose. Suddenly, betrayal booting doesn’t happen by accident anymore.

Imho, I don’t think it’s broken. There are reasons why the system is how it is.

This sounds like a good idea but then people can take advantage of GP and hammer jumping to get out of the map if there is no roof.
IDk why it’s even a thing. God it’s -Yoinking!- stupid. Kicked from winning a game because my team rushed the goal with me. Yeah. “Because req point farming”. Put a cap on it, Einstein.

Did you ever try using the sword? or do you not prefer to use it?
