My general feedback

Overall the game plays great and will be happy to try out more in future flights or release. As for specific feedback:

Weapon balance: Pretty good across the board for what Ive used, although there are some issues.

  • The Commando is… kinda bad. 7-10 shots to kill isnt great with its recoil, mag size, and spread. How to balance it, im not sure. - The Pulse Carbine is a monster if you can hit with it, 2 burst kill potential is nuts. But the issue is, hitting with it can be near impossible. A simple wiggle strafe makes it all but useless in many cases, although its definitely worse at close range in that situation. Again tough to balance without it just being another BR, would say possibly making a 2&1/2 - 3 burst kill while increasing the tracking or velocity of its bolts could be a solution. - Gravity Hammer seems like its missing something, either increased movement speed a little bit or extending its lunge might be the solution. The Radar: It seems pretty bad compared to previous installments. Either its range is incredibly short or (as I read elsewhere) it may possibly not be picking up people that aren’t actively sprinting. Either way, something should be done about it in my opinion as its usefulness isn’t good.

Sprinting: Very well done, its speed improvement is minimal as is primarily used to enable sliding. However 2 isssues.

  • The screen shake induced by sprint specifically needs a setting to turn it off. Its horrible and the general option seemingly doesn’t effect it. I can’t see it as a balancing factor either. - The animations for sliding in first person are very jarring and sometimes results in rubber banding.Customization: Very, very nice. The filter system is good. Going back to something reminiscent of Reach was the correct call, although a few nitpicks.

  • Color palettes aren’t the right call, atleast not this iteration. Would be fine if we could adjust how they’re applied and if we want the colors to have some form of asymmetry. - Armor attachments dont have the option to have color applied to them, seems like an oversight. Though it should be an option, not always applied. The “Battlepass”: Seems like a well done version of the common system. Im unsure if it will be available for earnable in game currency, but from what ive read it seems to be quite friendly regarding the players time investment to eliminate FOMO (being able to complete at any time and purchasing older passes). The one issue that I have is that xp is only earned through challenges, not gameplay. I dislike that system as it can force players to play in ways to the detriment of their own or others enjoyment. The challenges should be a supplement to xp earned through general gameplay.

The outlines: An interesting option to allow players to keep their custom colors available at all times, however, I would like the option to remove or tone down the glow on enemies, while removing it on allies and instead having Tags above their heads like in previous iterations. Would provide the same Friend/Foe detection but remove a bit of the “aim for the red glow” going on currently.

Might add more later if I think of any, this was all I could think of at the moment.
