my game keeps crashing on startup

i load up the game and it crashes after a couple seconds and the game loads forever with that loading thing is in the corner. ive tried downloading it into a different drive and turned off overlay in geforce and nothing seems to work they. does anyone know any other fixes for this problem?

I have also been experiencing this issue. I press play, it starts up, loads for maybe 2 seconds, then closes immediately. I tried revalidating files, nothing was invalid, so i’m not sure what the issue is.

yeah i tried that too, ive tried every fix that people have said and none seems to work. it must be something on the 343 side of things so i guess we all just have to wait for a fix. really sucks tho i was really excited to play this for the first time, a real shame.

yeah i have the same issue and i really want to try this game out

Same issue :frowning:

Any update on this? Same thing is happening.

Mines running fine on Xbox Series S, but having a connecting issue or loading issue once clicking multiplayer, game isn’t crashing or anything, just won’t go past the loading screen.

Which firmware? Where to find?

Same problem not launching, i am on PC also, has any one got there fixed yet?

Just to continue to beat a horse, and so that 343 is tracking the issue, Im also having the same issue above.

343 Industries you owe me a free copy of Halo. Finally figured it out, after several hours of troubleshooting.

The issue is with the graphics card not having up to date firmware. I kept updating my firmware in device manager however Halo Infinit would keep crashing. I had to manually see if my driver was up to date and match the numbers to the actual up to date driver for Nvidia. It turns out there is a bug where even if your firmware says it is up to date in device manager, it really is not up to date. You need to manually look up the numbers. Find the folder where the most up to date firmware is, and install the most up to date firmware “manually”. Once I did this it fixed.

Okay great Halo is loading now, but now there is a 101 error. To fix this I had to perform a windows update and revalidate the game files. Now I finally played my first match!
