I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or knows a fix for this, ok so basically the problem is that my friend is having serious lag and runs at slideshow speed on mcc pc (the steam version) its mostly been an issue in multiplayer games but i think she is starting to have the issue in singleplayer as well. She went from 8gb ddr4 to 32gb ddr4 because we thought that was the problem seeing how that only just met system specs but it hasnt fixed anything her specs are an
>intel core i7-7700k
>geoforce gtx 1060 6gb
>32gb ddr4 ram
Anyone else experincing really shlty lag? Or know any kind of fix? Or is something wrong with her computer? Any advice would be appercitated
I assume when you say lag you actually mean low frame rate/fps. The specs on my system are a step down from hers in almost every regard and the game works fine for me in most cases.
When you say you upgraded her RAM, did you buy a whole new 32gb kit (way overkill for gaming, btw) or did you just add new sticks to her current setup. If so, what did you add? I am asking because there could be a compatibility issue.
Also, have you tried the usual trouble shooting steps like updating drivers and resource monitoring?
its 32gb by itself and the task manager has nothing out of the oridanry on it sooooo…
