My forge maps. Arena focused. Balanced and refined

I typically don’t post, but I have been working away one a few new maps for Halo 5 Arena. I have created and tested 3 maps so far and I am trying to get these noticed by the community and 343. Please download and leave feedback. I will be trying to release a new map every week built to this quality. GT= I LoTuS I

This is my original design inspired by classic creek maps. This has been tuned and balanced for Arena/HaloWorldChamionship gameplay. Would fit well in a team double playlist also.

Delinquent is perfect for 2v2, small enough to promote enemy engagement but allow players to “pick their shot” with creative movement options.

Haptic - my most recent map is designed with small teams in mind, limited power weapons/ups and long cross map sightlines allow you to support teammates with cross shooting.

Ive seen battle canyon before, played it on customs with a group, and its a good spinoff of beaver creek.

Those other maps, well they need some work. Their good quality and look good, but youve made some 343 mistakes.

  • Cover: improve the amount and height of cover, dont intend for people to be sprinting all the time. Building maps with the intent of sprinting to cover is a really bad idea, mainly because when youre in combat and need cover, the stopping power kills sprint, and you are left crawling to the nearest block (also continue to use squares, circle walls are stupid) - Sprint: basically covered it above, but once again, sprint doesnt change gameplay all that much and expecting people to use sprint in combat is a very bad thing, as walking should still be the main way of travel and combat, whereas sprint is reserved for covering long distances. - Scenery: please, dont make something just for the sake of scenery. That kills combat experience and personally, when im in the middle of BR battling someone and i get caught on stupid things like benches or pipes hugging the wall, I get pissed and hate the map. - Symmetry: dont be afraid to build a battle box or somewhat dull shape for a map, because while it may be dull, its extremely effective and is ultra fair.Those are the biggest quarrels i have with the maps, but theyre well built and look good, they just need to play a little better is all. Props for making entirely new maps though, as its hard to find people capable of building new and successful maps nowadays.

You have to add him to friends.

Then in-game, go to a customs lobby, hit X, go to friends - files - maps.
