I spent the last 10 hours making my forge map with multiple saves, literally I had just finished the whole map with all weapon and spawns when I saved as a new map (alongside all my other saves), when I went into the menu all the saves and vanished, not one save was there, I quickly when on to reddit to find a solution but no threads had been made at the time, so a created my own here:
It’s been a day now and my map is still missing, I believe its on my hard-drive somewhere but i’m unable to access it, I still have the forge temp video file of me making the map, unfortunately there isn’t a temp file of my map either, please could a moderator or anyone help me, I spent a long long time of planning, thinking and ton of editing for this map, please help me.
This happened to me as well, I spent so long on my map and it’s gone and it hurts. I’m not gonna dedicate too much time on forge until this issue is both addressed and fixed
I found the fix to this by myself. To make your disappeared forge maps reappear, go to your xbox home menu and press the menu (start) button on your xbox one controller while you have Halo MCC selected. Then select the quit button to force shut down the game. Reopen your Halo MCC game and your disappeared maps will be there.
As happy as I am that my long hours of forge have not gone to waste, 343i should fix this so that it is not this difficult to find our maps.

doesn’t work. i tried everything on this topic, its like my map has been deleted but im the only one who uses the xbox so there’s no way it could have. the map was on awash and i spent at least 15-20 hours making it, i stopped playing halo for a while, come back and the map is gone but my game type for it is still there. im so confused
A detailed explanation of what occurred: I am missing my forge special map I created that had this cool jump bridge on the Forge Island map. I am also missing my forge special map I created for the Bloodline map. The latter had insane detail, really cool structures, bridges and cliff roads. And no I did NOT delete ether of them. The files have ether been whipped, stolen or is a bug glitch; I am livid.
Can you duplicate this event? - Yes, no matter how many times I restart my computer nothing is there.
Any more information or details? - I just recently bought this game at Game Stop, I bought it for forge. I spent hours and hours and hours and hours building that Bloodgulch map (2 whole days in fact). I was shocked when I could not find them, now I’m just ticked.
Any questions for us? - Yes, one question actually…I want to know why a bug glitch from 2014 is freakin’ still here in two thousand freakin’ nineteen? Seriously Microsoft? I would very much like a representive from Microsoft to give me help on this, thank you.

Update: Well I have good news…I tried what Menzi0 said was the solution and it worked, it reappeared, so weird. The next day it was there as well, so bizzare. Thanks Menzi0 your a life saver. Two thumbs waaaaaay up.
However, the qlitch continues to occur intermitently and is ultra annoying.
