I’m going to cut to the chase and share some good points and bad points. Seeing as I actually enjoy ending things on a high note, I want to start with the bad points first.This is a Beta so I’m not going to go on a tangent and say Halo5 is dead yadda yada since ther’es still time for change.
Firstly, It feels very VERY awkward that when you get shot at the camera shakes a little bit. My issue with this is that it makes things VERY hard to fight back, I’m no asking for this to be removed not just simply because the old Halo’s never had it, but I feel that it makes things difficult to focus.
While yes it’s true that the first to shoot and get a hit may win it’s hard to focus when I need to get back into cover. I’d ask that this is removed as this just doesn’t feel nessicary at all.
Call outs: While yes I can understand the need for call outs from the Spartans there’s a strange since of unfamiliarity at the same time. Obviously we don’t have a lot of players that talk on the mics but it just doesn’t feel good when the voice of the Spartan is some programmed sound effect. I’d suggest that you just take this one out and let the actual players do the talking. (It’s a nit-pick I know, but it just doesn’t feel right)
Aim down sites- I don’t know why, but I feel like in order to be very accurate I have to look down a site with an Assault-rifle when it just seems simpler to shoot without having to look down into the scope. Also the recoil feels WAY to rough when you fire the gun. I would appreciate it if this could be a tad more stable. It might be me, but it just feels awkward.
I wasn’t able to play MM earlier when my bro and I were both in a party and on the same X1. I seriously hope this is a bug and that you can fix it, I should make it clear that this is also the exact same problem in the MCC so I hope you guys can do something about that.
Now onto what I DO like:
So far the game is fast paced and adrenalin pumping. I think this game has potential, I hope you can take what I have into consideration 343, good luck with this game!
